Abstract

Jumlah kapal di Indonesia semakin meningkat di tiap tahunnya tercatat dari tabel data kapal yang tercatat di Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia, menurut data CD Register Biro Klasifikasi tahun 2011 untuk kapal kapal yang masih aktif sejumlah 6.663 unit. Berdasarkan hal tersebut proses maintanance maupun proses pembangunan pada kapal juga pasti akan terus meningkat tiap tahunnya. Salah satu proses yang penting dalam pembangunan kapal baru maupun maintance pada kapal yaitu proses pelapisan atau juga bisa disebut dengan proses coating. Selama ini proses coating yang masih di aplikasikan masih dengan aplikasi konvensional dengan dibantu alat secara manual. Dalam skripsi ini akan dibahas konsep baru dalam proses coating dengan automatic, dimana mencakup beberapa informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam perkembangannya berupa karakteristik dan spesifikasi teknis hingga diagram robotik yang dapat menjadi acuan dalam perkembangan penelitian.

Amount total of Indonesia Ships always increase every year , and based on data of Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia table, from CD Register Biro Klasifikasi 2011 total of active ships are 6.663 units. Based on this condition maintanance and build process also increasing each year. One of the most important thing that needed for maintanance and new building is Coating process. Until today coating process that applied on the ships are still using conventional application with manual devices. In this thesis will be explain the new concept of coating process with automatic, include some information that needed to develop such as Technical characterized and specification until the robotic digram that could be the reffrence of research for coating devices technology.
