Abstract

Teknik sipil merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu yang mempelajari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga pemeliharaan konstruksi. Ilmu ketekniksipilan sendiri dapat dipelajari secara teoritis melalui kelas selama perkuliahan. Secara praktis, ilmu ketekniksipilan dipelajari melalui kegiatan saat di laboratorium maupun pengamatan atau praktik pelaksanaan konstruksi langsung di lapangan. Kerja praktik merupakan salah satu mata kuliah yang wajib ditempuh oleh setiap mahasiswa yang diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan mengenai pengaplikasian ilmu Teknik Sipil di lapangan. Mahasiswa diharapkan memperoleh pengetahuan dan pengalaman dari lapangan sehingga dapat menjadi bekal dalam memasuki dunia kerja. Oleh karena itu dalam pemenuhan tujuan kerja praktik, penulis menetapkan pelaksanaannya pada Proyek Pembangunan East Coast Center 2 Phase 2. Kegiatan kerja praktik ini berlokasi di Jalan Kejawan Putih Mutiara Tengah Nomor 17, Pakuwon, Kejawan Putih Tambak, Mulyorejo, Surabaya dengan PT Mitralanggeng Jaya Konstruksi sebagai kontraktor pelaksana. Proyek ini meliputi pembangunan mal, hotel, dan apartemen yang terdiri dari 13 lantai podium, 31 lantai pada tower 2, dan 27 lantai pada tower 3 dengan luas 181.189 meter persegi. Proyek ini dibangun dengan waktu pelaksanaan selama 28 bulan.

Civil engineering is a branch of science that studies the design, construction, and maintenance of structures. Civil engineering itself can be studied theoretically through classroom lectures. Practically, civil engineering is learned through laboratory activities as well as direct observation or construction practice in the field. Internship is one of the subjects that every student must take, which is expected to provide insight into the application of civil engineering knowledge in the field. Students are expected to gain knowledge and experience from the field so that they can be equipped to enter the working world. Therefore, in fulfilling the objectives of the internship, the author determines its implementation in the East Coast Center 2 Phase 2 Development Project. This internship activity is located at Jalan Kejawan Putih Mutiara Tengah Number 17, Pakuwon, Kejawan Putih Tambak, Mulyorejo, Surabaya with PT Mitralanggeng Jaya Construction as the contractor. This project involves the construction of shopping malls, hotels, and apartments consisting of 13 podium floors, 31 floors in Tower 2 and 27 floors in Tower 3, with an area of 181.189 square meters. This project was built with a construction period of 28 months.
