Abstract

Paradigma saat ini transportasi publik di perkotaan belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan orang terutama pada perjalanan bersekolah. Hal tersebut tercermin pada mobilitas mahasiswa yang belum diakomodasi melalui layanan sistem transportasi publik yang memadai di Surabaya Timur. Layanan ride-hailing dapat menjadi pelengkap yang dapat membantu melayani permintaan transportasi mahasiswa di Surabaya Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pola mobilitas perjalanan bersekolah dengan menggunakan layanan on-demand ride-hailing di Surabaya Timur berbasis spatio-temporal. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi pengembangan layanan ride-hailing yang dapat menjadi komplemen bagi sistem angkutan umum.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan Crosstab Chi-square untuk mengetahui keterkaitan karakteristik pelaku pengguna terhadap penggunaan layanan ride-hailing. Selanjutnya, metode analisis Geographical Weighted Regression (GWR) digunakan untuk menganalisis faktor permintaan ride-hailing pada periode waktu yang berbeda pada perjalanan berangkat dan pulang dari kampus.
Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat variabel yang signifikan mempengaruhi perbedaan permintaan ride-hailing perjalanan mahasiswa di Surabaya Timur berdasarkan periode waktu yaitu tingkat kepadatan, jarak tempuh, waktu tempuh, dan biaya perjalanan. Perbedaan permintaan ride-hailing pada setiap periode waktu pada perjalanan bersekolah diantaranya pada pagi hari tersebar tinggi pada 9 kelurahan yaitu di Kelurahan Ploso, Kelurahan Pacarkembang, Kelurahan Kertajaya, Kelurahan Manyar Sabrangan, Kelurahan Gunung Anyar, Kelurahan Kalijudan, Kelurahan Mojo, Kelurahan Gebang Putih, dan Kelurahan Penjaringansari. Pada siang hari tersebar tinggi pada 10 kelurahan di yaitu Kelurahan Mojo, Kelurahan Kertajaya, Kelurahan Manyar Sabrangan, Kelurahan Gebang Putih, Kelurahan Penjaringansari, Kelurahan Gunung Anyar, Kelurahan Airlangga, Kelurahan Dukuh Sutorejo, Kelurahan Ploso, dan Kelurahan Menur Pumpungan. Sedangkan pada sore hari tersebar tinggi pada 6 kelurahan di yaitu Kelurahan Airlangga, Kelurahan Kertajaya, Kelurahan Gebang Putih, Kelurahan Keputih, Kelurahan Medokan Ayu, dan Kelurahan Pacarkembang.

The current paradigm of urban public transportation has not been able to meet people's needs, especially for school trips. This is reflected in the mobility of college students who have not been accommodated through adequate public transportation system services in East Surabaya. Ride-hailing services can be a complement that can help serve student transportation requests in East Surabaya. This study aims to examine the mobility patterns of school trips using on-demand ride-hailing services in East Surabaya on a spatiotemporal basis. This research is expected to be useful for the development of ride-hailing services that can complement the public transportation system.
This study uses descriptive statistical analysis methods and Crosstab Chi-square to determine the relationship between the characteristics of users and the use of ride-hailing services. Furthermore, the Geographical Weighted Regression (GWR) analysis method is used to analyze the demand factor for ride-hailing at different periods on the way to and from campus.
The results show that there are variables that significantly affect the difference in demand for ride-hailing for student trips in East Surabaya based on the period, namely the level of density, travel distance, travel time, and travel costs. Differences in demand for ride-hailing at each period during school trips, including in the morning are widely distributed in 9 sub-districts, namely in Ploso Sub-District, Pacarkembang Sub-District, Kertajaya Sub-District, Manyar Sabrangan Sub-District, Gunung Anyar Sub-District, Kalijudan Sub-District, Mojo Sub-District, Gebang Putih Sub-District, and Penjaringansari Sub-District. During the afternoon, widely distributed in 10 sub-districts namely Mojo Sub-District, Kertajaya Sub-District, Manyar Sabrangan Sub-District, Gebang Putih Sub-District, Penjaringansari Sub-District, Gunung Anyar Sub-District, Airlangga Sub-District, Dukuh Sutorejo Sub-District, Ploso Sub-District, and Menur Pumpungan Sub-District. Meanwhile, in the evening widely distributed in 6 sub-districts, namely Airlangga Sub-District, Kertajaya Sub-District, Gebang Putih Sub-District, Keputih Sub-District, Medokan Ayu Sub-District, and Pacarkembang Sub-District.
