Abstract
Masa kecil merupakan fase terpenting bagi perkembangan intelektual maupun perkembangan emosional anak. Pada usia 18 bulan sampai 3 tahun anak mulai mengenali emosi, perasaan orang lain, dan mulai mengenali ekspresi muka orang lain mengenai suatu emosi pengalaman. Emosi pada anak ternyata berperan sangat besar dalam membentuk struktur otak, selain itu mengenali emosi pada anak merupakan satu kunci untuk membantu dalam mengontrol emosi agar tumbuh menjadi anak yang bahagia dan memiliki sifat yang baik. Oleh karena itu penting bagi orang tua untuk memberikan stimulasi yang tepat sesuai dengan tumbuh kembang anak salah satunya dengan bermain. Dalam melakukan aktivitas bermain terkadang dibutuhkan media, selain sebagai hiburan media bermain juga bisa dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Maka diperlukan media berupa buku sebagai bentuk upaya pengenalan emosi kepada anak dengan pendekatan melalui permainan, karena apabila “emosi” tersebut tidak dikenalkan dapat berdampak pada tumbuh kembang serta karakter anak.
Pada perancangan ini digunakan beberapa metode yaitu, studi literatur melalui jurnal, media online, depth interview kepada narasumber terkait, observasi dan studi eksperimental.
Hasil dari perancangan ini berupa busy book dengan konsep permainan yang dikuatkan pada konten dengan tujuan untuk memudahkan target audiens mengikuti informasi dan apa yang pembelajaran mengenai pengenalan emosi yang terdapat di dalam buku. Melalui busy book ini diharapkan menjadi media alternatif penunjang orang tua dalam mengenalkan emosi kepada anak usia 18 bulan sampai 3 tahun.

Childhood is the most important phase for the intellectual development and emotional development of children. At the age of 18 months to 3 years, children begin to recognize the emotions and feelings of other people and begin to recognize other people's facial expressions regarding an emotional experience. Emotions in children turn out to play a very large role in shaping the structure of the brain, apart from that recognizing emotions in children is a key to helping control emotions so that they grow up to be happy children and have good qualities. Therefore it is important for parents to provide proper stimulation according to the growth and development of children, one of which is by playing. In carrying out playing activities, media is sometimes needed, apart from being entertainment, playing media can also be used as learning media. So we need media in the form of books as a form of effort to introduce emotions to children with an approach through games, because if "emotions" are not introduced it can have an impact on the child's development and character.
In this design, several methods are used, namely, literature studies through journals, online media, in-depth interviews with relevant sources, observation and experimental studies.
The result of this design is in the form of a busy book with a game concept that is strengthened in content with the aim of making it easier for the target audience to follow information and what is learned about recognizing emotions contained in the book. Through this busy book, it is hoped that it will become an alternative media to support parents in introducing emotions to children aged 18 months to 3 years.
