Abstract

Meningkatnya perburuan penyu sebagai satwa liar dilindungi membuat populasi penyu semakin terancam yang mengakibatkan turunnya populasi penyu. Hal ini akan berdampak pada ketidakseimbangan ekosistem laut yang memegang peranan penting atas berlangsungnya kehidupan. Fenomena ini memerlukan perhatian lebih dari pemerintah maupun masyarakat untuk ikut andil dalam mengatasinya. Melalui media film pendek yang mengangkat kisah perburuan penyu dan perjuangan para konservator Taman Kili - kili Trenggalek, diharapkan dapat sebagai upaya dalam melindungi dan melestarikan keberadaan penyu.
Perancangan ini dilakukan dengan beberapa metode untuk penggalian data dan perancangan desain. Metode penggalian data yang digunakan berupa studi literatur, studi eksisting, observasi lapangan, serta wawancara stakeholder dan target audiens. Setelah semua data yang diperlukan terkumpul, dilakukan metode perancangan desain berupa pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi yang kemudian akan dievaluasi pada tahap akhir untuk mengetahui keefektivitasannya.
Film ini berdurasi 6 menit 12 detik dengan ide utama kisah perburuan penyu oleh masyarakat sekitar serta perjuangan para konservator Taman Kili - kili Trenggalek mengatasi fenomena tersebut. Tujuan dari perancangan ini diharapkan dapat menginspirasi target audiens untuk berkontribusi dalam konservasi penyu.

The increase in turtle poaching as an endangered animal has made the turtle population even more threatened, which has resulted in a decline in the turtle population. This will have an impact on the imbalance of marine ecosystems which play an important role in the continuity of life. This phenomenon requires more attention from the government and society to take part in overcoming it. Through the medium of short films that tell the story of turtle hunting and the struggles of the conservators at Taman Kili-kili Trenggalek, it is hoped that this can be an effort to protect and preserve the existence of turtles.
This design is carried out with several methods for data mining and design planning. The data collection method used is in the form of literature studies, existing studies, field observations, as well as stakeholder and target audience interviews. After all the necessary data has been collected, a design method is carried out in the form of pre-production, production, and post-production which will then be evaluated at the final stage to determine its effectiveness.
This film has a duration of 6 minutes and 12 seconds with the main idea being the story of turtle hunting by the local community and the struggle of the Taman Kili-kili Trenggalek conservators to overcome this phenomenon. The purpose of this design is expected to inspire the target audience to contribute to turtle conservation.
