Abstract

Kesadaran tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan pada masyarakat indonesia sudah cukup baik terutama untuk kesehatan tulang. Tulang menjadi salah satu faktor yang sangat penting bagi tubuh manusia untuk penopang berat tubuh sangat berpengaruh bagi kehidupan. Tingginya angka pasien yang mengalami kasus cedera tulang belum diimbangi dengan pengadaan fasilitas yang menjadi sarana penyembuhan pasien yang baik dan memadai pada beberapa rumah sakit. Salah satu rumah sakit unggulan di Surabaya adalah Rumah Sakit Port Health Centre (PHC) Surabaya. Rumah Sakit PHC yang merupakan rumah sakit BUMN yang memiliki pusat spesialis ortopedi yang memberikan layanan yang menangani permasalahan sistem otot, tulang, sendi, dan ligamen. Desain interior Pusat Ortopedi Rumah Sakit PHC Surabaya bertujuan untuk membuat interior ruangan rumah sakit yang menjadi sarana pemulihan pasien dan aplikasinya pada elemen dinding, lantai, dan plafon. Faktor kenyamanan visual dan fisik dalam ruangan menjadi hal yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam perancangan Pusat Ortopedi Rumah Sakit PHC guna menjadi solusi peningkatan kualitas desain yang ada. Metodologi yang diterapkan pada perancangan ini dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan dan studi literatur dengan topik yang berkaitan. Hasil dari perancangan ini menjadikan desain interior sebagai sarana pemulihan dengan pendekatan seni dalam proses penyembuhan, juga dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang ada di dalam Pusat Ortopedi Rumah Sakit PHC dan meningkatkan kenyamanan secara fisik seperti aplikasi kemudahan wayfinding, aplikasi kemudahan akses, maupun non fisik pasien seperti pemilihan warna selama proses penyembuhan.

Awareness about the importance of maintaining health in Indonesian society is quite good, especially for bone health. Bones are one of the most important factors for the human body to support body weight which is very influential for life. The high number of patients who experience cases of bone injury has not been matched by the provision of facilities that are good and adequate means of healing patients in several hospitals. One of the leading hospitals in Surabaya is the Surabaya Port Health Center (PHC) Hospital. PHC Hospital which is a BUMN hospital that has an orthopedic specialist center that provides services that treat problems of the muscular, bone, joint and ligament systems. The interior design of the Orthopedic Center at PHC Surabaya Hospital aims to make the interior of a hospital room a means of patient recovery and its application to wall, floor and ceiling elements. The visual and physical comfort factors in the room are very much needed in the design of the PHC Hospital Orthopedic Center to become a solution to improve the quality of existing designs. The methodology applied to this design was carried out by field observations and literature studies on related topics. The results of this design make interior design a means of recovery with an art approach in the healing process, it can also solve problems that exist in the Orthopedic Center of PHC Hospital and increase the patient's physical and non-physical comfort during the healing process.
