Abstract

Kota Surabaya merupakan pusat perdagangan bisnis yang dinamis dan juga pusat wisatawan. Sehingga Pemerintah telah menyatakan Kota Surabaya sebagai salah satu kota destinasi Industri Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition (MICE) dan menjadi salah satu pilar perekonomian utama di Kota Surabaya. Kegiatan MICE berikut dapat menghadirkan tamu pelaku bisnis berkualitas, sehingga dibutuhkan hotel untuk menjadi tempat peristirahatan yang sekaligus dapat mendukung aktivitas dan kegiatan bisinis saat dalam rangka perjalanan bisnis. Hotel idealnya memberikan akomodasi dan fasilitas unggul untuk para pelaku bisnis dengan konsep area komersil yang menawarkan kemudahan akses, fasilitas, dan teknologi terkemuka. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan “Desain Interior Hotel Sahid Surabaya Berkonsep Neo-Classic dengan Penerapan Smart WellBeing sebagai Bentuk Strategi Re-Branding”. Penelitian dengan judul diatas menggunakan metode design thinking yang diawali dengan tahapan emphatize yaitu observasi dan wawancara, melalui proses define dot vote dan decision matrix, ideasi, prototype, dan diakhiri dengan melalui test evaluation. Wawancara dilaksanakan untuk mendalami dan memahami aktivitas yang dialami oleh pengunjung dan pengelola. Pada tahap ideasi, dilakukan proses perancangan melalui tahapan brainstorming untuk mengumpulkan ide-ide yang didasarkan dari hasil observasi dan wawancara. Pada tahapan selanjutnya dihasilkan konsep akhir yang kemudian divisualiasasikan melalui prototype penerapan desain interior (3D visualisasi dan 3D animasi) yang dilanjutkan dengan test evaluation. Hasil dari test evaluation didapatkan melalui customer satisfaction index dan validasi desain pada pengunjung hotel untuk mengetahui ketercapaian dan feedback dari hasil desain yang sudah dirancang. Setelah dilakukan proses desain pada penilitian ini, dihasilkan apliaksi neo-klasik dengan penerapan smart wellbeing sebagai solusi atas permasalahan yang ada. Konsep wellbeing diterapkan melalui suasana ruang, desain interior, dan aspek smart facility. Melalui konsep ini, dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap re-branding, persaingan, dan perkembangan hotel sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai pemasaran pada tamu pelaku bisnis. Perancangan ini menghasilkan desain interior yang dapat menunjang wellbeing para tamu melalui warna, material, audio, aroma, air quality, dan teknologi terkemuka untuk memenuhi kebutuhan aktivitas dan efektifitas, serta memberikan experience baru pada pengunjung.

The city of Surabaya is a dynamic business-trade center as well as a tourist center. So that the Government has declared the City of Surabaya as one of the destination cities for the Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition (MICE) Industry and has become one of the main economic pillars in the City of Surabaya. The following MICE activities can bring in quality business guests, so a hotel is needed to become a resting place that can also support business activities and activities while on a business trip. The ideal hotel provides superior accommodation and facilities for business travelers with a commercial area concept that offers ease of access, facilities and leading technology. In this research, the design of "Interior Design of Hotel Sahid Surabaya with Neo-Classic Concept and Implementation of Smart WellBeing as a Form of Re-Branding Strategy" was carried out. The research with the title above uses the design thinking method which begins with the empathize stage through observation and interviews, followed by the process of defining dot vote and decision matrix, ideation, prototyping, and ends with a test evaluation. Interviews were conducted to explore and understand the activities experienced by visitors and managers. At the ideation stage, the design process is carried out through the brainstorming stage to gather ideas based on the results of observations and interviews. In the next stage, the final concept is generated which is then visualized through a prototype of the application of interior design (3D visualization and 3D animation), followed by a test evaluation. The results of the evaluation test were obtained through the customer satisfaction index and design validation for hotel visitors to find out the achievements and feedback from the design results that have been designed. After carrying out the design process in this research, a neo-classical application was produced with the application of smart wellbeing as a solution to existing problems. The wellbeing concept is implemented through the atmosphere of space, interior design, and smart facility aspects. Through this concept, it can influence re-branding, competition, and hotel development so as to increase marketing value to business guests. This design produces an interior design that can support the wellbeing of guests through leading colors, materials, audio, aroma, air quality, and technology to meet activity and effectiveness needs, as well as provide a new experience for visitors.
