Abstract

Minat membaca pada masyarakat Indonesia terbilang rendah. Minat membaca adalah salah satu budaya yang penting dan perlu untuk dilestarikan. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi minimnya minat membaca salah satunya adalah kurangnya fasilitas yang optimal dan juga atraktif menjadi salah satu faktor rendahnya minat membaca pada perpustakaan. Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DPAD DIY) menyediakan sebuah perpustakaan umum bernama Perpustakaan Grhatama Pustaka, Perpustakaan ini memiliki berbagai fasilitas dengan tujuan sebagai wahana pembelajaran dan wahana rekreasi ilmiah untuk masyarakat, hal ini didukung dengan Undang-Undang No 43 tahun 2007 tentang tujuan perpustakaan. Penggunaan metode design thinking berupa observasi, wawancara,studi literatur terkait objek, ideasi, membuat prototype dan melakukan test. Observasi dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang terjadi pada objek. Wawancara dilaksanakan demi mendalami dan memahami aktivitas dan pengalaman yang dialami baik pengunjung dan pengelola. Pada tahap ideasi, dibuatlah kumpulan ide-ide yang berangkat dari hasil wawancara dan observasi sebelumnya, sehingga dihasilkan sebuah konsep. Konsep kemudian divisualisasikan melalui prototype yang dilanjutkan pelaksanaan testing. Test sendiri merupakan rangkaian validasi kepada masyarakat, untuk mengetahui seberapa berhasilnya desain yang telah dirancang dan juga untuk mendapat feedback. Konsep Edutech Atraktif dihadirkan sebagai upaya keselarasan antara nilai literasi pengetahuan dengan aspek interior berteknologi , agar dapat lebih mudah diterima dan menarik bagi kelompok usia pelajar. Melalui konsep Edutech Atraktif, pengunjung merasakan nuansa teknologi Edukatif yang diselaraskan dengan nuansa desain interior terintegrasi pada teknologi pintar dan furnitur inovatif atraktif yang dapat memberikan pengalaman baru diharapkan terciptanya keinginan eksploratif pengunjung demi meningkatnya minat literasi pada kalangan usia pelajar dengan kecenderungan dekat dengan teknologi, empati tinggi, eksplorasi tinggi dan praktis.

Interest in reading in Indonesian society is relatively low. Interest in reading is an important culture and needs to be preserved. Many factors affect the lack of interest in reading, one of which is the lack of optimal and attractive facilities, which is one of the factors causing low interest in reading in the library. The Yogyakarta Special Region Library and Archives Service (DPAD DIY) provides a public library called the Grhatama Pustaka Library. This library has various facilities with the aim of being a vehicle for learning and a vehicle for scientific recreation for the community, this is supported by Law No. 43 of 2007 concerning library purposes. The use of design thinking methods in the form of observation, interviews, literature studies related to objects, ideation, making prototypes and conducting tests. Observations are made by identifying problems that occur in objects. Interviews were conducted to explore and understand the activities and experiences experienced by both visitors and managers. At the ideation stage, a collection of ideas is made that departs from the results of previous interviews and observations, so that a concept is produced. The concept is then visualized through a prototype followed by testing. The test itself is a series of validations for the community, to find out how successful the design has been and to gain feedback from communities. The Attractive Edutech concept is presented as an effort to harmonize knowledge literacy values with technological interior aspects, so that it can be more easily accepted and attractive to the student age group. Through the Attractive Edutech concept, visitors feel the nuances of Educative technology which are harmonized with the nuances of integrated interior design on smart technology and attractive innovative furniture that can provide new experiences.
