Abstract

Pekerjaan di sektor pertambangan merupakan pekerjaan dengan risiko tertinggi kedua setelah industri penerbangan. Jumlah insiden yang terjadi di PT. XYZ pada tahun 2020 sebesar 188 insiden yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya kompetensi karyawan. Karena itu, perlu ada peningkatan kompetensi SDM pada pekerjaan tambang di PT. XYZ untuk meminimalisir insiden. Di samping itu, perlu adanya basis data terpusat informasi karyawan atau calon karyawan kompeten yang diperlukan user. Tujuan pelitian ini untuk menghasilkan sistem yang terintegrasi antara calon pekerja dan calon peserta training dengan user serta menyediakan informasi calon karyawan kompeten yang diperlukan user dengan metode design thinking. Metode design thinking memungkinkan sistem yang dibuat benar-benar sesuai kebutuhan user dengan tahap emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, dan testing. Penelitian ini menghasilkan satu iterasi dengan protitipe yang dinilai cukup realistis. Setiap iterasi proses design thinking yang dilakukan dapat menghasilkan perubahan-perubahan yang berbeda dari persetujuan awal. Proses design thinking yang telah diterapkan dapat menghasilkan sistem yang optimal bagi pengguna. Hasil dari pengembangan aplikasi web dinilai memudahkan pemantauan proses pelatihan peserta dan menyediakan informasi calon karyawan yang komprehensif.

Employment in the mining sector is the second highest risk occupation after the aviation industry. The number of incidents that occurred at PT. XYZ in 2020 amounted to 188 incidents caused by lack of employee competence. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the competence of human resources in mining work at PT. XYZ to minimize incidents. In addition, there is a need for a centralized database of competent employee or prospective employee information needed by the user. The purpose of this research is to produce an integrated system between prospective workers and prospective trainees with users and to provide information on competent prospective employees that users need using the design thinking method. The design thinking method allows the system to be made according to the user's needs with the empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing stages. This research resulted in one iteration with a prototype that was considered quite realistic. Each iteration of the design thinking process can produce changes that are different from the initial agreement. The design thinking process that has been applied can produce an optimal system for users. The web application is considered to facilitate the monitoring of the participant training process and provide comprehensive prospective employee information.
