Abstract

Johan Huizinga berpendapat bahwa manusia merupakan insan yang bermain. Bermain sendiri merupakan sifat bawaan manusia yang terus berkembang. Ketika dewasa, bermain berkembang menjadi personality of play yang merupakan delapan sifat bermain yang berbeda. Setiap manusia memiliki personality of playnya masing-masing. Namun, saat ini, bermain nampaknya hanya ditujukan untuk anak-anak. Orang dewasa yang bermain sering kali diremehkan dan dirasa bermain tidak diperlukan untuk orang dewasa. Bahkan, tidak sedikit masyarakat yang memiliki pendapat-pendapat negatif atau stigma tertentu mengenai orang dewasa yang bermain. Akibatnya, beberapa orang dewasa merasa malu atau bahkan tidak bermain lagi akibat stigma-stigma tersebut. Sebuah area atau bangunan tertentu yang dapat menampung orang dewasa yang bermain serta dapat menunjukkan kepada masyarakat bahwa bermain adalah sifat manusia yang kita bawa dari lahir akan dibutuhkan. Dalam menjawab isu tersebut, penulis menggagas ide mengenai fasilitas bermain bagi orang dewasa dengan menerapkan neuroarsitektur berupa multisensori desain.

Johan Huizinga argues that humans are humans who play. Playing alone is an innate human trait that continues to develop. As adults, play develops into a personality of play which is eight different characteristics of play. Every human being has their own personality of play. However, nowadays, play seems to be aimed only at children. Adults who play are often belittled and feel that play is unnecessary for adults. In fact, not a few people have negative opinions or certain stigmas about adults playing. As a result, some adults feel ashamed or even don't play anymore because of these stigmas. A certain area or building that can accommodate adults who play and can show the public that playing is human nature that we are born with will be needed. In answering this issue, the author initiated the idea of playing facilities for adults by applying a neuroarchitecture in the form of multisensory designs
