Abstract

Peralatan GTT (Gardu Trafo Tiang) di PLN Distribusi Jawa Timur belum terpantau pada sistem SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition). Petugas UP3 (Unit Pelaksana Pelayanan Pelanggan) bersama dengan petugas di lapangan masih harus mengawasi peralatan GTT yang tersebar di wilayah Distribusi Jawa Timur secara manual. Pengawasan GTT ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan komunikasi radio atau melalui HT (Handy Talkie) dan web portal. Perkembangan teknologi IoT (Internet of Things) menciptakan teknologi baru seperti LoRa (Long Range) yang dapat digunakan pada jaringan LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) untuk mewujudkan konektivitas antara peralatan di kejauhan dengan pusat kontrol. Dengan adanya teknologi tersebut, permasalahan yang dialami PLN Distribusi Jawa Timur dapat dipecahkan. Implementasi IoT berbasis LoRaWAN pada GTT memungkinkan adanya pengawasan jarak jauh langsung dari pusat kontrol. Tampilan dashboard di pusat kontrol yang menyajikan informasi visual berupa status dan single line diagram akan mempermudah pengawasan. Implementasi ini menjawab kendala yang dihadapi Kantor UP2D (Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Distribusi) Jawa Timur. Dengan terintegrasinya peralatan GTT dengan dashboard, proses pengawasan peralatan yang tersebar di wilayah Jawa Timur akan semakin efektif dan efisien.

This study focuses on addressing the need for efficient and effective voltage monitoring of pole-mounted transformer substations (GTT) in PLN East Java Distribution, specifically in the region of East Java. Currently, the monitoring of GTT equipment remains a manual and labor-intensive process, requiring constant oversight from UP3 (Customer Service Implementation Unit) personnel and field officers. To overcome these challenges, this research proposes the implementation of LoRaWAN-based IoT technology for remote voltage monitoring. By leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm, LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) provides a reliable and scalable communication infrastructure for connecting GTT equipment to the central control center. Through this integration, real-time voltage monitoring can be achieved, eliminating the need for manual surveillance and enhancing overall operational efficiency. This study will investigate the feasibility and benefits of utilizing LoRaWAN-based IoT for voltage monitoring in GTT equipment. The research will evaluate the connectivity, data transmission, and reliability of the LoRaWAN network, along with the development of a comprehensive dashboard system at the central control center. Furthermore, the study will assess the impact of this implementation on the efficiency and effectiveness of voltage monitoring in the East Java Distribution region
