Abstract
Telah dilakukan penelitian menggantikan sebagian semen dengan abu ampas tebu dan abu karbon tempurung kelapa sebagai bahan mortar dan pengujian sifat mekaniknya. Komposisi yang digunakan adalah perbandingan antara abu karbon tempurung kelapa dan abu ampas tebu sebesar 1:9; 3:7; 5:5; 7:3; dan 9:1 sebagai variabel bebas dan sampel standar menggunakan pasir hitam lumajang, dan ditambahkan superplasticizer sebagai bahan pengikat dalam dua variasi, yaitu 1% dan 2%. Dilakukan proses curing dan pengujian sifat mekanik dalam 14, 21, dan 28 hari. Pengujian sifat mekanik terdiri dari pengujian densitas dan pengujian kuat tekan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan, maka didapatkan nilai densitas yang meningkat seiring dengan proses curing yang dilakukan. Semakin lama waktu curing, tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai kuat tekan. Penambahan abu karbon tempurung kelapa lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan abu ampas tebu terhadap sifat kuat tekan mortar. Nilai karakterisik mekanik tertinggi dari bahan mortar diperoleh pada sampel dengan penambahan komposisi abu ampas tebu dan abu karbon tempurung kelapa dengan perbandingan 5:5 dengan superplastcizer 1%. Research has been carried out to replace some cement with bagasse ash and coconut shell carbon ash as mortar materials and test their mechanical properties. The composition used is a ratio between coconut shell carbon ash and bagasse ash of 1:9; 3:7; 5:5; 7:3; and 9:1 as the independent variable and the standard sample using black sand, and added superplasticizer as a binder in two variations, namely 1% and 2%. Curing process and mechanical properties testing were carried out in 14, 21, and 28 days. The mechanical properties test consists of density testing and compressive strength testing. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the density value increases as the curing process carried out. The longer the curing time, has no effect on the compressive strength value. The highest mechanical characteristic value of the mortar material was obtained in the sample by adding the composition of bagasse ash and coconut shell carbon ash with a ratio of 5:5 with 1% superplasticizer. With a density value of 1.9 g/cm3 and a compressive strength of 17.30 MPa.
