Abstract

Adanya berbagai pulau membuat indonesia menjadi negara yang memiliki kekayaan laut berupa sumber daya ikan yang melimpah. Kurangnya teknologi yang digunakan oleh nelayan mengakibatkan potensi sumber daya ikan laut yang cukup besar belum dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Pengetahuan nelayan mengenai lokasi potensial penangkapan ikan kurang maju sehingga membuat penangkapan ikan tidak optimal dan tidak efisien dalam waktu dan bahan bakar. Berdasarkan data diatas perlu adanya suatu rancang bangun aplikasi tracking system fishing ground berbasis data satelit untuk kapal penangkap ikan pelagis untuk daerah potensi penangkapan ikan yang bisa membantu nelayan mengetahui dimana tempat ikan berkumpul dengan menggunakan teknologi penginderaan jauh, yaitu dengan data satelit Landsat 8. Parameter yang digunakan yaitu distribusi spasial suhu permukaan laut (SPL) dan konsentrasi klorofil-a. Zona potensi ikan ditentukan dengan adanya kombinasi data/peta sebaran suhu permukaan laut, kandungan klorofil, pola arus laut, cuaca, serta karakter toleransi biologis ikan terhadap suhu air. Satelit Landsat-8 dirancang membawa sensor pencitra OLI (Operational Land Imager) yang mempunyai 1 kanal inframerah dekat dan 7 kanal tampak reflektif dengan resolusi 30m. Kurangnya teknologi berupa aplikasi mobile pada penelitian sebelumnya mendukung penelitian tugas akhir. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan data citra satelit Landsat 8 collection 2 level 2 & level 1 pada periode bulan Mei 2022 hingga Juni 2023 di perairan pasongsongan untuk memprediksi daerah potensial penangkapan ikan pelagis. Pengolahan data menggunakan dua software yaitu ArcMap 10.8 dan Envi 5.3. Penulis menggunakan parameter klorofil-a dengan nilai >0,5mg dan suhu permukaan laut dengan rentang 27°C-29°C. Aplikasi tracking system fishing ground merupakan aplikasi yang dirancang untuk membantu nelayan dalam melacak lokasi prakiraan fishing ground untuk ikan pelagis. Aplikasi ini memiliki 4 fitur yaitu tracking, hasil tangkap, data pendaratan ikan dan peta prakiraan potensi penangkapan ikan yang dapat menunjang kebutuhan nelayan saat melakukan penangkapan ikan pelagis.

The presence of various islands makes Indonesia a country with abundant marine wealth in the form of plentiful fish resources. The lack of technology used by fishermen results in the substantial potential of marine fish resources not being fully utilized. Fishermen's knowledge of potential fishing locations is insufficient, making fishing less than optimal and inefficient in terms of time and fuel. Based on the above data, there needs to be a design of a satellite data-based fishing ground tracking system application for pelagic fishing vessels in potential fishing areas, which can help fishermen know where the fish gather using remote sensing technology, specifically with Landsat 8 satellite data. The parameters used are the spatial distribution of sea surface temperature (SST) and chlorophyll-a concentration. The potential fish zone is determined by the combination of data/maps of sea surface temperature distribution, chlorophyll content, sea current patterns, weather, and the biological tolerance of fish to water temperature. The Landsat-8 satellite is designed to carry an OLI (Operational Land Imager) sensor which has 1 near infrared channel and 7 visible reflective channels with a resolution of 30m. The lack of mobile application technology in previous research supports this final project research. The research is conducted using Landsat 8 collection 2 level 2 & level 1 satellite image data for the period of May 2022 to June 2023 in the Pasongsongan waters to predict potential pelagic fish capture areas. Data processing uses two software, ArcMap 10.8 and Envi 5.3. The author uses a chlorophyll-a parameter with a value >0.5mg and a sea surface temperature ranging from 27°C-29°C. The fishing ground tracking system application is an application designed to assist fishermen in tracking the estimated fishing ground locations for pelagic fish. This application has 4 features, namely tracking, catch results, fish landing data, and a map of potential fishing capture estimates that can support the needs of fishermen when catching pelagic fish.
