Abstract

According to information from the United Nations, the increase in the global elderly population aged 65 years and above is proportional to the increase in the incidence of diseases each year, especially age-related including stroke, which is indicated by the appearance of hemiparesis or hemiplegia symptoms, creating a rapidly growing demand for stroke rehabilitation. However, there are obstacles in terms of limited access to rehabilitation centers both from the economic aspect and time efficiency. Then to overcome this, a telerehabilitation system is utilized where there is support for miniaturization of sensors combined with medical information technology to provide efficient solutions to reduce costs and provide remote medical services through connected devices. The result of this research is the formation of an information system to support telerehabilitation that can be applied by all types of health facilities to maximize rehabilitation services remotely where in this case it is done to display data in real time from the FES device. Based on the tests carried out, the results can be obtained in the form of serial communication between 2 microcontrollers representing FES instrumentation represented by STM32 with the ESP32 WiFi module successfully realized where it can be seen that when an average calculation is made for Delay Time when data is received by ESP32 from STM32, namely 4171.6 ms. Then the average Delay Time of data sent to the Database via HTTP POST is 972.7 ms. Furthermore, the connectivity between ESP32 and the Database with the help of middleware in the form of php script is also successfully connected, as evidenced by the HTTP Response Code = 200, connectivity between the Database and the website which has also been successfully connected is indicated by the success of displaying data realtime from hardware, the speed of querying rehabilitation data for every 100 rows for 1000 data which takes an average time of about 0.05596 seconds, 15 Use Case scenario results were successfully achieved in accordance with the design which involves the existence of authority so that data security is guaranteed.
