Abstract

Tumbuhan obat merupakan suatu bahan yang berasal dari tumbuhan yang sangat sederhana, murni, belum terkontaminasi atau tercampur bahkan belum diolah, yaitu tumbuhan yang dalam proses pembuatanya hanya dipetik dan diracik, kemudian langsung dikonsumsi sebagai obat alami. Hanya saja, saat ini pengetahuan tersebut belum terdokumentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan tumbuhan sebagai obat tradisional oleh masyarakat Desa Sumberbrantas, Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi dan tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan di Desa Sumberbrantas Kecamatan Bumiaji Kota Batu Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa metode wawancara semi terstruktur dan terstruktur dengan responden untuk mendokumentasikan dan menyiapkan spesimen herbarium. Parameter analisis data yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah Species Use Value (SUV), Family Use Value (FUV), Plant Part Use (PPU) dan Fidelity Level (FL) serta inventarisasi morfologi yang teridentifikasi menggunakan buku indentifikasi spesies tumbuhan obat atau menggunakan kunci determinasi. Hasil penelitian teridentifikasi 102 spesies tumbuhan yang terbagi dalam 52 famili yang berbeda untuk mengobati 49 jenis penyakit dalam 6 kategori. Spesies tanaman yang memiliki SUV paling tinggi yaitu Excoecaria cochinchinensis (Sambang darah) dengan SUV (0.07), untuk FUV paling tinggi diperoleh famili Zingiberaceae (0.45) dan presentase FL tertinggi dimiliki spesies Allium cepa (Bawang merah) (75%). Sebagian besar organ tumbuhan (PPU) yang digunakan sebagai bahan obat tradisional adalah daun (59%) dan pengolahan dilakukan dengan cara direbus

A tree can be said healthy on condition that it can perform its physiological properly. Healthy trees may indicate good health forest. In the Sumber Pawon forest, which is one of the tropical rain forest has abundant plant diversty. This research was conducted to determine the characeristics of tumors on trees in the Sumber Pawon forest, as well as to know the abundance of trees in the Sumber Pawon forest. The observation of this study was conducted in January 2022 – March 2022 by observing 14 points sampling that has been determined in the Sumber Pawon forest, so it will be obtained data on abundance and characteristics of tumors in tree infections. This research is using purposive sampling method at any points of observation. The identification of tumors on trees is done by observing trees at each observation point to find tumor infected trees, which will be identified about its tumor characteristics with the parameter of tumor shape, tumor size, tumor color, tumor texture and tumor diameter. The result obtained in research that has been done, it is obtained that there are several trees in the forest area of Sumber Pawon sort of tumor disease. The most commonly tumor abundance is found at point 3 with the number of tumor is 13 tumors, and also the least tumor found at point 14 with the number of tumor is 1 tumor.The number of individual tree infected tumors is width at the point 1 and 8 with the total amount of each 4 tree individuals, and the least point found at point 3 and 14 with the number of each points is 1 individual tree that infected tumor.
