Abstract
Perusahaan industri kaca mempunyai tanggung jawab untuk mempertahankan kualitas. Dalam menjaga kualitas produknya, perusahaan memerlukan adanya quality control untuk mengontrol batas kecacatan yang timbul pada proses produksi. Diharapkan, kualitas produk tetap terjaga dan perusahaan tidak kehilangan pelanggan karena produk tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan pelanggan. PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Sidoarjo adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur berupa kaca. Salah satu produk PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk berupa Kaca Panasap Dark Grey 5 mm. Kualitas kaca panasap dapat dilihat pada distorsi patah dan cutter line. Hasil monitoring kualitas produksi Kaca Panasap Dark Grey 5 mm menggunakan diagram kendali MMECD dengan pembobot λ=0,1 menunjukkan bahwa variabilitas proses produksi belum terkendali secara statistik dan terjadi pergeseran pada variabilitas proses produksi Kaca Panasap Dark Grey 5 mm pada fase 2. Pengamatan out of control pada variabilitas proses produksi kaca disebabkan oleh temperature dan setting area pembentukan kaca. Penyebab ini kemudian dapat diatasi dengan adjustment temperature dan setting area yang kemudian membuat kualitas distorsi patah dan cutter line kembali membaik. Lalu, hasil monitoring menggunakan diagram kendali MEC yaitu MEC1 dan MEC2 dengan pembobot λ=0,2 menunjukkan bahwa tidak terjadi pergeseran rata-rata proses produksi fase 2. Dari hasil perbandingan diagram kendali MEC1 dan MEC2, diagram kendali MEC1 lebih sensitif untuk monitoring rata-rata proses fase 1, sedangkan diagram kendali MEC2 lebih sensitif untuk memonitoring pergeseran rata-rata proses pada fase 2. Dari analisis kapabilitas proses secara univariat dan multivariat pada fase 1 maupun fase 2, presisi dan akurasi proses produksi kurang baik. Sehingga, proses produksi Kaca Panasap Dark Grey 5 mm di PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Sidoarjo dapat dikatakan belum kapabel.

Glass industry companies have the responsibility to maintain quality. In maintaining the quality of its products, the company requires quality control to control the limit of defects that arise in the production process. Hopefully, product quality is maintained and the company does not lose customers because the product does not meet customer needs. PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Sidoarjo is a company engaged in manufacturing in the form of glass. One of the products of PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk is Panasap Dark Gray 5 mm Glass. The quality of panasap glass can be seen in the broken distortion and cutter line. The results of monitoring the production quality of 5 mm Dark Grey Panasap Glass using MMECD control chart with λ=0.1 show that the variability of the production process has not been statistically controlled and there is a shift in the variability of the production process of 5 mm Dark Grey Panasap Glass in phase 2. The out of control observation in the variability of the glass production process is caused by the temperature and setting of the glass forming area. This cause then can be resolved by adjusting the temperature and setting area which makes the quality of the broken distortion and cutter line improved. Then, the monitoring results using MEC1 and MEC2 control chart with λ = 0.2, show that there is no shift in the mean process of the phase 2. From the comparison of the MEC1 and MEC2 control charts, the MEC1 control chart is more sensitive for monitoring the mean process. From the univariate and multivariate capability analysis in phase 1 and phase 2, the precision and accuracy of the production process is not good. Thus, the production process of 5 mm Dark Grey Panasap Glass at PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Sidoarjo can be said to be not yet capable.
