Abstract
Menperin menyebutkan, kebutuhan garam nasional tahun 2022 berdasarkan Neraca Garam, yakni sebesar 4,5 juta ton yang terdiri atas kebutuhan industri pengolahan sebesar 3,7 juta ton dan konsumsi 800 ribu ton baik untuk rumah tangga maupun komersial. dan produksi garam industri di dalam negeri masih belum mampu memenuhi garam industri nasional. Hal ini terkait dengan kadar NaCl untuk garam industri yang tinggi, yaitu NaCl > 97%, sehingga perlu inovasi dari sisi teknologi pada produksi garam di dalam negeri untuk dapat menghasilkan garam berkualitas Beberapa upaya telah dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, seperti metode pencucian dan rekristalisasi, yaitu metode pencucian dengan variabel penambahan flokulan PAC (Aln(OH)mCl3n-m) dan selanjutnya dilakukan rekristalisasi, yaitu pembentukan kristal kembali dari larutan atau leburan dari material yang ada. Sebenarnya rekristalisasi hanyalah sebuah proses lanjut dari kristalisasi apabila kristalisasi (dalam hal ini hasil kristalisasi) memuaskan rekristalisasi hanya bekerja apabila digunakan pada pelarut pada suhu kamar, namun dapat lebih larut pada suhu yang lebih tinggi,untuk metode rekristalisasi ini sendiri yang nantinya akan menggunakan sistem kontrol on/off flow dan temperature guna menunjang proses pemurnian garam dari garam krosok ke garam standar industri

The Minister of Industry said that the national salt need for 2022 is based on the Salt Balance, which is 4.5 million tons consisting of the processing industry's needs of 3.7 million tons and consumption of 800 thousand tons for both household and commercial use. and industrial salt production in the country is still unable to meet national industrial salt. This is related to the high NaCl content for industrial salt, namely NaCl > 97%, so it is necessary to innovate from a technological point of view in domestic salt production to be able to produce quality salt. Several attempts have been made to overcome this problem, such as washing and recrystallization methods. namely the washing method with the variable addition of PAC flocculants (Aln(OH)mCl3n-m) and then recrystallization is carried out, namely the formation of crystals again from solution or melting of the existing material. Actually recrystallization is just a further process of crystallization if the crystallization (in this case the crystallization product) satisfies the recrystallization only works when used in a solvent at room temperature, but can be more soluble at higher temperatures, for this recrystallization method itself which will later use a control system on/off flow and temperature to support the salt refining process from krosok salt to industrial standard salt
