Abstract

PT. Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Sidoarjo merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri pembuatan kaca. Perusahaan ini selalu berkomitmen dalam mengedepankan kualitas produk karena kepuasan pelanggan adalah yang paling utama. PT. Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Sidoarjo memproduksi berbagai jenis produk kaca di antaranya yang rutin adalah kaca lembaran. Pada penelitian kali ini akan difokuskan pada produk kaca lembaran dengan mencatat jumlah cacat pada masing-masing unit sampel dimana jenis cacat diklasifikasikan menjadi beberapa kategori. Maka kondisi seperti ini dapat dimodelkan dengan baik menggunakan peta kendali, dengan menggunakan peta tersebut maka dapat diketahui apakah proses produksi kaca terkendali secara statistik atau tidak. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dari hasil inspeksi proses produksi kaca lembaran. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di PT. Asahimas Flat glass Tbk. Sidoarjo. Analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan pengendalian kualitas statistic peta u, analisis yang di peroleh Proses produksi kaca glass di PT. Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Sidoarjo terkendali secara statistik pada periode pertama (iterasi pertama) dan periode kedua, proses belum kapabel karena nilai Cp<1.Cacat yang paling dominan pada kaca adalah jenis cacat bubble, analisis mengenai penyebab jenis cacat dominan mengunakan diagram ishikawa yaitu dipengaruhi oleh beberapa komponen yaitu mesin, lingkungan dan metode.

PT . Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Sidoarjo is a company engaged in the field of glass manufacturing industry . The company is always committed to advancing the quality of the products because customer satisfaction is the most important. PT . Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Sidoarjo producing many kinds of products in between regular glass is float glass . In the present study will be focused on the sheet glass by noting the number of defects in each sample unit which types of defects are classified into several categories . Then this condition can be modeled well using the map control , by using the map it can be seen whether the glass production process is statistically under control or not . Sources of data used in this study are secondary data from the results of the inspection process of sheet glass production . Sampling was done in PT . Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk . Sidoarjo. The analysis is performed using statistical quality control map u , the analysis obtained glass glass production process at PT . Asahimas Flat Glas s Tbk Sidoarjo statistically controlled in the first period ( first iteration ) and the second period , the process is not capable because the value Cp < 1.Cacat most dominant on the glass is a kind of bubble defects , analysis of the causes of the dominant defect type using ishikawa diagrams are influenced by some components of the machine , the environment and methods .
