Abstract
The increasing awareness of health in Indonesia is surely affecting many aspects of healthcare service, one of them is the surge of demand in eye health care service in Surabaya. The heightened demand resulting in many challenges for healthcare professionals in terms of managing their workload, which lead to overwork and recurring potential decrease of patient care quality. Therefore, to address this issue, it is crucial to identify the root causes and develop effective strategies for optimizing effectively and efficiently within the health-care system. This study shall focus on conducting an integrated workload analysis in CV. Tritya Manfaat Bersama is a health-care service company that was first established back in february 4th, 2009 by dr. Armanto Sidohutomo, Sp.M(K) where he built and pioneered the first eye clinic in Surabaya, where the core value of this clinic is helping everyone in need for their eye health nevertheless. Utilizing data-driven approaches and surveys of health-care workers, this paper aims to specifically pinpoint where the workload is most prevalent and identify the underlying causes. As an addition, this study will be very useful for the Human Resource Department (HRD) for mitigating challenges and creating any contingency plans and strategies for future needs. This study will highlight the interventions of HRD in workforce planning. training, workload, and other strategies needed while ensuring the well-being of the healthcare professionals. As this paper will be proposed based on evidence from healthcare institutions, the study should score the importance of continuous monitoring and evaluation towards the system performance to ensure its improvements. Diary sampling will also be used as an assessment tools to see the current condition and future proposed intervention. This continuous assessment will enable Tritya Eye Clinic to adapt and refine their strategies in order to maintain the high standards of care. This paper found that there is a situation in which of the departments of pharmacy unit is overload that shown index of 1,44 in average with the highest 1,64 and the lowest 1,32. The other findings were there were an indication of a job position that could be reduce since the index is categorized as underload, therefore there is a proposition of merging job positions for the underload and creating new division for the overload.
