Abstract
Business Intelligence dashboard sebagai salah satu teknik visualisasi data dapat membantu organisasi dan industri masa kini dalam memantau, memeriksa, dan membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan. Berdasarkan hasil preliminary study, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam mendesain sebuah dashboard khususnya dari aspek desain dan usability. Pada penelitian ini, terdapat 4 stimulus tampilan dashboard yang diujikan untuk melihat pengaruh dari layout, warna, dan pemberian time pressure kepada responden. Setiap stimulus yang diujikan, responden diminta menjawab 2 tipe task yaitu exact answer dan decision making. Pada task 1 diperoleh data secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari eye tracker. Data kuantitatif yang diperoleh selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian statistika berupa pengujian kruskal wallis, friedman test, dan interaction plot. Hasil pengujian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa variabel layout, warna, dan time pressure berpengaruh signifikan pada beberapa variabel dependen. Selanjutnya pada task 2, diperoleh data kuantitatif berupa completion time dan number of error. Sedangkan data kualitatif yang diperoleh adalah Retrospective Think Aloud (RTA). Setelah menyelesaikan kedua task tersebut, akan dilanjutkan dengan mengisi kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS) untuk mengukur kepuasan masing-masing responden secara subjektif. Secara keseluruhan dari 4 stimulus tampilan yang diujikan, tampilan kedua yaitu kombinasi multihue dan grouped layout menjadi tampilan dengan usabilitas terbaik. Hasil penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi serta panduan dalam mendesain tampilan Business Intelligence dashboard yang baik agar memudahkan aspek kognitif manusia, diantaranya pemilihan visualisasi data, labeling, serta pemilihan font dan ukuran yang tepat, menggunakan grouping layout, dan memilih warna yang tepat sesuai tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Beberapa rekomendasi tersebut dapat diterapkan oleh para desainer agar diperoleh efektivitas dalam memahami dan menyerap informasi secara cepat dan tepat.

Business Intelligence dashboards as a data visualization technique can help today's organizations and industries in monitoring, checking, and assisting in decision making. Based on the results of the preliminary study, there were several challenges in designing a dashboard, especially from the design and usability aspects. In this research, there were 4 dashboard display stimuli that were tested to see the effect of layout, colour, and giving time pressure to respondents. For each stimulus tested, respondents were asked to answer 2 types of tasks, namely exact answer and decision making. In task 1, quantitative and qualitative data was obtained from the eye tracker. The quantitative data obtained was then subjected to statistical testing in the form of the Kruskal Wallis test, Friedman test, and interaction plot. The test results show that the layout, colour, and time pressure variables have a significant effect on several dependent variables. In task 2, quantitative data was obtained in the form of completion time and number of errors. Meanwhile, the qualitative data obtained was Retrospective Think Aloud (RTA). After completing these two tasks, it will continue by filling out the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire to subjectively measure the satisfaction of each respondent. Overall, of the 4 display stimuli tested, the second display, namely a combination of multihue and grouped layout, was the display with the best usability. The results of this research also provide recommendations and guidance in designing a good Business Intelligence dashboard display to facilitate human cognitive aspects, including choosing data visualization, labelling, as well as choosing the right font and size, using grouping layouts, and choosing the right colours according to the desired goal achieved. Some of these recommendations can be implemented by designers to obtain effectiveness in understanding and absorbing information quickly and accurately.
