Abstract

Traveloka merupakan perusahaan yang menyediakan layanan pemesanan tiket pesawat dan hotel secara daring dengan fokus perjalanan domestik di Indonesia. Sebagai Southeast Asia’s Leading Travel Platform, Traveloka selalu ingin berinovasi dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan yang diberikan terutama pada performa aplikasinya. Maka dari itu, Traveloka bersama Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) bekerja sama untuk menyelenggarakan magang bagi mahasiswa di Indonesia yang ingin ikut turut serta membangun Traveloka dan juga mendapat pengalaman dari industry travel ticketing terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Role yang diambil penulis yaitu sebagai Implementation Engineer di Tim Technology Operation (TechOps). Project yang dikerjakan oleh penulis selama magang kurang lebih 5 bulan adalah Containerization Project. Tujuan utama project ini adalah mengoptimalisasi deployment, yang utamanya adalah dari AWS EC2 ke AWS ECS Fargate. dan juga biaya infra untuk seluruh service yang dimiliki tim produk di Traveloka. Sampai penulis menyelesaikan magang, penulis telah berhasil melakukan migrasi total 27 Service dengan impact sesuai yang diharapkan.

Traveloka is a company that provides online flight and hotel booking services with a focus on domestic travel in Indonesia. As Southeast Asia's Leading Travel Platform, Traveloka always wants to innovate and improve the quality of services provided, especially in the performance of its application. Therefore, Traveloka and Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) work together to organize internships for students in Indonesia who want to participate in building Traveloka and also gain experience from the largest travel ticketing industry in Southeast Asia. The role taken by the author is as an Implementation Engineer in the Technology Operation (TechOps) Team. The project that the author worked on during his internship for approximately 5 months was the Containerization Project. The main objective of this project is to optimize deployment, which is mainly from AWS EC2 to AWS ECS Fargate. and also infra costs for all services owned by the product team at Traveloka. Until the author completes the internship, the author has successfully migrated a total of 27 services with the expected impact.
