Abstract

Perancangan video ini ditujukan untuk memperkenalkan dan mempromosikan enam situs candi peninggalan Majapahit di Trowulan..Perancangan ini dilatar belakangi oleh belum dikenalnya Trowulan sebagai pusat Kerajaan Majapahit dimasa lampau yang kini memiliki daya tarik edukasi, budaya dan wisata melalui peninggalan sejarahnya. Beredarnya informasi baik dalam bentuk tertulis, dokumentasi dan video mengenai kerajaan tersebut masih belum membuat masyarakat tertarik untuk berkunjung ke Trowulan. Disini lain, meningkatnya harga tiket kunjungan dan pembatasan pengunjung ke Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan dan Ratu Boko, menjadikan peluang untuk situs candi lainnya menjadi alternatif tempat wisata edukasi budaya dan sejarah. Perancangan ini dilakukan dengan dengan metode melalui observasi lokasi, wawancara dengan stakeholders, serta studi eksperimental untuk memahami kebutuhan lembaga pengelola dan masyarakat. Hasil studi eksperimental , observasi dan wawancara ini dilanjutkan dengan pencarian informasi mengenai situs budaya di Trowulan, wawancara dengan sejumlah instansi terkait. Setelah data observasi dan wawancara didapat, dilakukannya studi eksperimental dalam pengembangan perancangan ini untuk membuat konsep, big idea, plot dan alur cerita, storyboard, pengambilan gambar, dan proses edit. Tidak hanya itu, agar mengetahui keberhasilan perancangan, dilakukan pemberian kuisoner terhadap beberapa responden untuk mengetahui nilai serta kritik dan saran dari responden terhadap perancangan ini. Video ini ditampilkan dengan durasi waktu enam menit dengan alur cerita berfokus pada informasi dari enam situs candi secara rinci untuk masing masing situs yang ada di Trowulan. Video ini memiliki kelebihan dalam menampilkan informasi rinci mengenai masing masing situs candi yang menjadi fokus penelitian dan video ini berkontribusi pada bidang keilmuan desain dan marketing khususnya untuk bidang desain media promosi, pariwisata, sejarah dan budaya dimana video ini dipromosikan melalui media sosial yang dapat diakses oleh generasi muda sehingga dapat juga ditujukan untuk menyediakan media promosi informatif bagi pengembangan kebudayaan dan alternatif tujuan wisata bagi masyarakat khususnya di Provinsi Jawa Timur

The design of this video is aimed at introducing and promoting the six Majapahit heritage temple sites in Trowulan. This design is motivated by the fact that Trowulan was not yet known as the center of the Majapahit Kingdom in the past which now has educational, cultural and tourist attractions through its historical heritage. The circulation of information in written form, documentation and videos about the kingdom has not yet made people interested in visiting Trowulan. On the other hand, the increasing price of visiting tickets and restrictions on visitors to the Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko Temple Tourist Parks have created opportunities for other temple sites to become alternative cultural and historical educational tourist attractions. This design was carried out using methods including location observations, interviews with stakeholders, and experimental studies to understand the needs of management institutions and the community. The results of experimental studies, observations and interviews were followed by a search for information about cultural sites in Trowulan, interviews with a number of related agencies. After observation and interview data were obtained, experimental studies were carried out in the development of this design to create concepts, big ideas, plots and storylines, storyboards, shooting and editing processes. Not only that, in order to know the success of the design, a questionnaire was given to several respondents to find out the value as well as criticism and suggestions from respondents regarding this design. This video is shown with a duration of six minutes with a storyline focusing on information from six temple sites in detail for each site in Trowulan. This video has the advantage of displaying detailed information about each temple site which is the focus of research and this video contributes to the scientific fields of design and marketing, especially in the fields of promotional media design, tourism, history and culture where this video is promoted via social media which can be accessed by the younger generation so that it can also be aimed at providing informative promotional media for cultural development and alternative tourist destinations for the community, especially in East Java Province
