Abstract
Tuban is an autonomous region located in the
geographical and the North Coast of Java. Sub-district Palang
is one of the districts in Tuban. Drainage system in the
District Palang one of which is supported by Seuru river
which empties into the Java Sea. Seuru river starts from the
village of Gesing after it passed through several villages,
ending at the border village Palang, Village Glodog and that
led to the estuary in the Java Sea. Village Glodog frequent
rain, resulting in frequent flooding, especially a river crossed
by the road segment seeped Seuru start Rembes-Pakah after
village of Bridge Pucangan to Street Gesikharjo-Glodog. The
region is experiencing a narrowing of the channel sediments
and found that increasing the capacity of the channel capacity
to discharge the water, it causes frequent flooding of this area.
Thus the need for alternative solutions to control Seuru river
flooding in the Village Glodog able to cope with the
expectations and effectively control floods.
