Abstract

Pelindo Development Center (PDC) dikukuhkan sebagai unit bisnis Jasa Layanan PT Pelindo Daya Sejahtera pada tanggal 21 Oktober 2018, yang menangani Jasa Asesmen Psikologi, Assessment Center, Pendidikan dan Pelatihan serta konsultansi Human Capital, antara lain Penyusunan Visi Misi Perusahaan, Struktur Organisasi, Analisa Jabatan, Man Power Planning, Aquiring System, Career Management System, Talent Management serta Remunerasi. Sebagai unit bisnis yang masih baru, Pelindo Development Center ini masih belum memiliki media untuk mempublikasikan profilnya ke masyarakat. Dengan alasan itu, akhrinya dibuatlah sebuah rancangan motion graphic company profile yang dapat digunakan oleh divisi Pelindo Development Center sebagai media promosi ke customer. Perancangan media ini akan dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian seperti tinjauan pustaka, studi eksisting, target pasar, dan komparator. Tinjauan pustaka dilakukan terkain dengan sumber literatur yang berhubungan dengan sejarah berdirinya Pelindo Development Center, studi eksisting dan komparator diberlakukan untuk memahami kinerja divisi Pelindo Development Center, dan target pasar untuk memahami siapa customer dari divisi tersebut. Luaran dari perancangan tersebut berupa video motion graphic company profile yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan awareness kepada customer dengan menggunakan media yang mudah dimengerti, sehingga customer mudah untuk memahami alasan dan tujuan berdirinya divisi Pelindo Development Center. Dalam perancangan motion graphic untuk company profile ada beberapa komponen di antaranya penentuan alur, asset, dan voice over. Dalam perancangan video motion graphic company profile penentuan alur sangatlan penting, karena dari alur tersebut akan di tentukan bagaimana karakter, icon, environtment dan voice over yang dibutuhkan. Dalam pembuatan asset berupa icon, karakter, dan environtment harus dapat menggambarkan perusahaan yang digunakan sebagai acuan, contohnya seperti icon kapal untuk memberikan gambaran bahwa perusahaan Pelindo bergerak di bidang perkapalan. Voice over harus dapat menjelaskan poin poin yang ingin di tonjolkan dalam sebuah video company profile, dan disesuaikan dengan alur yang sudah di rancang, mulai dari sejarah singkat perusahaan, bidang usaha, visi dan misi, program kerja, program non kerja, dan kontak sampai media sosial dari divisi Pelindo Development Center.

Pelindo Development Center (PDC) was inaugurated as the Services business unit of PT Pelindo Daya Sejahtera on October 21, 2018, which handles Psychological Assessment Services, Assessment Centers, Education and Training as well as Human Capital consulting, including Preparation of Company Vision and Mission, Organizational Structure, Job Analysis, Man Power Planning, Aquiring System, Career Management System, Talent Management and Remuneration. As a new business unit, the Pelindo Development Center does not yet have the media to publish its profile to the public. For that reason, a company profile motion graphic design was created that could be used by the Pelindo Development Center division as a media promotion to customers. This media design will be carried out using research methods such as literature review, existing studies, target market, and comparators. A literature review was carried out in relation to literature sources related to the history of the establishment of the Pelindo Development Center, existing and comparator studies were carried out to understand the performance of the Pelindo Development Center division, and the target market to understand who the customers of the division were. The output of the design is in the form of an Motion graphic company profile video that aims to increase knowledge and awareness to customers by using easy-to-understand media, so that customers can easily understand the reasons and objectives of the establishment of the Pelindo Development Center division. In designing a motion graphic for a company profile there are several components including determining the flow, assets, and voice over. In designing a video motion graphic company profile, determining the plot is very important, because from this plot, the characters, icons, environment and voice over will be determined. In making assets in the form of icons, characters, and environments, they must be able to describe the company used as a reference, for example, such as a ship icon to give an idea that the Pelindo company is engaged in shipping. Voice over must be able to explain the points that you want to highlight in a company profile video, and adapt it to the flow that has been designed, starting from a brief history of the company, business fields, vision and mission, work programs, non-work programs, and contacts to the media. from the Pelindo Development Center division.
