Abstract

Dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan formal, pendidik dan peserta didik dituntut lebih kreatif untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang diharapkan. Seorang pendidik harus mampu menguasai metode dan pemilihan media yang tepat dalam mengajar. Salah satunya adalah penggunaan tampilan interaktif yang mulai banyak digunakan terutama untuk kelas online. Biaya investasi tampilan interaktif cukup mahal. Namun tampilan tersebut belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik menggunakan fitur-fitur yang tersedia di sana. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan melakukan pengujian kegunaan tampilan interaktif dalam lingkungan akademik, melakukan analisis kegunaan dengan berfokus pada efisiensi, utilitas, dan kemampuan belajar antarmuka, dan memberikan rekomendasi pemanfaatan tampilan interaktif dengan mempertimbangkan pengalaman pengguna (UX). Pengumpulan data akan dilakukan dengan menguji tampilan interaktif pada responden yang merupakan perwakilan mahasiswa dan dosen. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah waktu penyelesaian dan respon serta persepsi responden pada tampilan interaktif. Respon dikumpulkan dengan metode Retrospective Think Aloud (RTA) yang memungkinkan responden menyampaikan tanggapannya setelah pengujian sehingga tidak mengganggu responden selama pengujian. Berdasarkan kegiatan pengujian, responden tidak mengalami kesulitan yang berarti saat melakukan tugas pengujian kegunaan karena fitur dan alatnya mirip dengan aplikasi dan perangkat lunak serupa. Namun karena responden baru pertama kali menggunakan tampilan interaktif berdasarkan tugas yang diminta, terdapat beberapa kebingungan pada tampilan interaktif seperti penggunaan Screen Share untuk melakukan presentasi dan beberapa alat pada Whiteboard dan Annotate. Total skor System Usability Scale (SUS) adalah 66,61 yang dikategorikan dalam rentang marginal yang dapat diterima dan perlu meningkatkan kegunaan tampilan interaktif. Rekomendasi yang diberikan berupa saran penggunaan tampilan interaktif dalam kegiatan perkuliahan untuk menunjang kelas interaktif

In the implementation of formal education, educators and students are required to be more creative to achieve the expected educational goals. An educator must be able to master the method and selection of appropriate media in teaching. One of them is using interactive display as it becomes use widely especially for online class. Interactive display investment cost is quite expensive. However, the display has not been utilized properly using the available features in there. Therefore, this study will conduct the usability testing of interactive display in academic settings, do the usability analysis by focusing on efficiency, utility, and learnability of the interface, and provide recommendation of interactive display utilization by considering user experience (UX). Data collecting will be done by testing the interactive display on respondents which are students and lecturer representative. Data collected are completion time and respondent responses and perception on interactive display. Responses are collected with method of Retrospective Think Aloud (RTA) which allow respondents to deliver their responses after testing hence it does not disturb respondents during the testing. According to testing activity, respondents did not face significant difficulties when performing usability testing task since the features and tools are resembled to similar application and software. However, since it is the first-time respondents use interactive display based on the requested tasks, there are some confusions on interactive display such as use of Screen Share to do presentation and some tools on Whiteboard and Annotate. Total score of System Usability Scale (SUS) is 66.61 which is categorized as marginal acceptable range and need to improve the usability of interactive display. Recommendation given are in the form of suggestions for using the interactive display in lecture activity to support interactive class.
