Abstract

Kapal ferry KM. Tirta Kencana memiliki 8 buah geladak yaitu dasar ganda, geladak kedua, geladak kendaraan, geladak antara, geladak akomodasi 1, geladak akomodasi 2, geladak sekoci, dan geladak atas. Pada geladak akomodasi 1 pada awalnya terdapat 3 ruangan yaitu ruang akomodasi pada bagian depan kapal, tengah kapal, dan belakang kapal. Ruangan akomodasi pada bagian belakang kapal akan dilakukan perubahan dengan menjadikannya sebagai ruangan untuk kendaraan. Perubahan ini akan berdampak pada perubahan fire control plan pada kapal tersebut dan juga safety plan sehingga diperlukan rancangan yang sesuai. Perancangan fire control plan dan safety plan ini nantinya akan berpengaruh terhadap rencana evakuasi yang akan dilakukan ketika terjadinya kebakaran pada kapal ini. Perancangan fire control systems pada Tugas Akhir ini mengacu pada peraturan-peraturan yang berlaku seperti SOLAS dan IMO. Selain itu pertimbangan-pertimbangan lain juga digunakan dalam perancangan fire control systems tersebut. Setelah merancangfire control, selanjutnya dirancang safety plan dan juga rencana penyelamatan (evacuation plan) pada KM. Tirta Kencana tersebut. Perencanaan penyelamatan (evacuation plan) dipengaruhi oleh tiga faktor yaitu panjang lintasan, jumlah penumpang, dan waktu pamakaian alat keselamatan (jacket life) Dari perencanaan penyelamatan yang Ielah dirancang diperoleh waktu evakuasi selama 60.93 menit dalam kondisi normal dan 90.93 menit dengan mempertimbangkan faktor panik

KM ferry. Tirta Kencana has 8 decks, namely double bottom, second deck, vehicle deck, intermediate deck, accommodation deck 1, accommodation deck 2, lifeboat deck and upper deck. On accommodation deck 1, initially there were 3 rooms, namely accommodation rooms at the front of the ship, in the middle of the ship and at the back of the ship. The accommodation space at the back of the ship will be changed to make it a space for vehicles. This change will have an impact on changing the fire control plan on the ship and also the safety plan so that an appropriate design is needed. The design of the fire control plan and safety plan will later influence the evacuation plan that will be carried out when a fire occurs on this ship. The design of fire control systems in this final project refers to applicable regulations such as SOLAS and IMO. Apart from that, other considerations are also used in designing fire control systems. After designing the fire control, a safety plan and also an evacuation plan for the KM were designed. Tirta Kencana.
