Abstract
Peningkatan permintaan akan produk bahan bakar telah mendorong industri minyak dan gas untuk terus mengembangkan teknologi pemisahan yang lebih efisien. Salah satu tahap penting dalam proses pemurnian minyak bumi adalah pemisahan campuran hidrokarbon menjadi komponen yang lebih murni, seperti pemisahan mix propane (C3), dan mix butane (C4) dari campuran hidrokarbon. Kolom debutanizer adalah salah satu peralatan yang digunakan dalam industri minyak dan gas untuk memisahkan komponen C3 dan C4. Salah satu tantangan utama adalah memastikan pemisahan yang optimal antara C3 dan C4 dengan tingkat efisiensi yang tinggi. Faktor-faktor seperti tekanan operasi, suhu, komposisi umpan, serta desain kolom debutanizer akan mempengaruhi kinerja pemisahan. Diharapkan bahwa hasil dari penelitian ini akan memberikan wawasan yang lebih baik tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja kolom debutanizer dalam pemisahan C3 dan C4.

creasing demand for fuel products has encouraged the oil and gas industry to continue developing more efficient separation technologies. One of the important stages in the petroleum refining process is the separation of the hydrocarbon mixture into purer components, such as separating the propane mix (C3) and butane mix (C4) from the hydrocarbon mixture. A debutanizer column is one of the equipment used in the oil and gas industry to separate C3 and C4 components. One of the main challenges is ensuring optimal separation between C3 and C4 with a high level of efficiency. Factors such as operating pressure, temperature, feed composition, and debutanizer column design will influence separation performance. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide better insight into the factors influencing debutanizer column performance in the separation of C3 and C4.
