Abstract

Pada proses produksi di PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional RU V Balikpapan membutuhkan energi listrik, air industri, air bersih dan steam. Ketiga produk tersebut disupply oleh Power Plant dari area utilities. Area utilities menggunakan 3 sumber air yang berasal dari Sungai Wain, deepwell, dan air laut. Jumlah ketersediaan air dari ketiga sumber air ini dipengaruhi oleh cuaca. Pada proses pengolahan air membutuhkan 9 jenis material chemical yang berperan untuk mengubah raw water menjadi air dengan spec boiler. Ketidakadaan material chemical akan menyebabkan raw water menjadi off spec. Fluktuasi pemakaian jumlah chemical disebabkan oleh fluktuasi dari kebutuhan listrik kilang dan ketersediaan air dari masing – masing sumber air. Pada pengelolaan inventory, akan menghadapi ketidakpastian pada demand untuk material chemical. Melihat kondisi ini, besar terjadinya risiko understock dan overstock yang dapat berdampak pada proses produksi energi listrik. Evaluasi ini diharapkan dapat mengestimasi kebutuhan dari pemakaian chemical dan mendapatkan metode sistem persediaan yang optimum agar terhindar dari kondisi understock dan overstock. Metode continuous review (s,Q) method digunakan untuk chemical K180902024, K180900816, K180900049, K180900825, K180900910, dan K440400004. Metode continuous review (s,S) method digunakan untuk chemical K180900450. Metode periodic review (R,s,S) method digunakan untuk chemical K440100011. Kebutuhan chemical K180902024 dibutuhkan sebesar 132.858 kg/tahun, chemical K180900816 dibutuhkan sebesar 150.022 kg/tahun, chemical K180900049 dibutuhkan sebesar 4.960 kg/tahun, chemical K180900825 dibutuhkan sebesar 9.469 kg/tahun, chemical K180900910 dibutuhkan sebesar 369 kg/tahun, chemical K180900450 dibutuhkan sebesar 374.180 kg/tahun, chemical K440400004 dibutuhkan sebesar 24.697 kg/tahun dan chemical K440100011 dibutuhkan sebesar 1.095 kg/tahun. Selain itu, chemical K640100002 menggunakan metode pendekatan persentil karena data permintaan yang terdistribusi uniform.

The production process at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional RU V Balikpapan requires electrical energy, industrial water, clean water and steam. The three products are supplied by the Power Plant from the utilities area. The utilities area uses 3 water sources that come from the Wain River, deepwell, and seawater. The water treatment process requires 9 types of chemical materials that play a role in converting raw water into water with boiler specs. The absence of chemical materials will cause raw water to be off spec. Fluctuations in the amount of chemicals used are caused by fluctuations in the refinery's electricity needs and the availability of water from each water source. In inventory management, there will be uncertainty in demand for chemical materials. Seeing this condition, there is a great risk of understock and overstock which can have an impact on the electrical energy production process. This evaluation is expected to estimate the need for the use of chemicals and obtain an optimal inventory system method to avoid understock and overstock conditions. The continuous review (s,Q) method is used for chemical K180902024, K180900816, K180900049, K180900825, K180900910, and K440400004. The continuous review (s,S) method is used for chemical K180900450. The periodic review (R,s,S) method is used for chemical K440100011. Chemical K180902024 needs are needed at 132,858 kg/year, chemical K180900816 is needed at 150,022 kg/year, chemical K180900049 is needed at 4,960 kg/year, chemical K180900825 is needed at 9,469 kg/year, chemical K180900910 is needed at 369 kg/year, chemical K180900450 is needed at 374,180 kg/year, chemical K440400004 is needed at 24,697 kg/year and chemical K440100011 is needed at 1,095 kg/year. In addition, chemical K640100002 uses a percentile approach method because the demand data is uniformly distributed.
