Abstract

PT ABA merupakan perusahaan penghasil makanan gluten-free product. Saat ini PT ABA sudah memproduksi 23 SKU yang tersusun dari beraneka ragam bahan baku inti dan variasi. Dalam proses pengadaan bahan baku, PT ABA menghadapi kompleksitas akibat adanya keterkaitan antara rencana produksi, jenis produk, bahan baku penyusun, proporsi bahan baku, supplier referensi, hingga kebijakan pembelian yang bervariasi. Selain itu, keputusan pengadaan juga membutuhkan koordinasi fungsi internal perusahaan yang saat ini masih harus dilakukan secara manual dalam pengolahan data. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, PT ABA harus berhadapan dengan efisiensi perencanaan pengadaan bahan baku yang mampu mempengaruhi proses bisnis secara keseluruhan. Tugas Akhir ini berfokus pada bagaimana merencanakan pengadaan bahan baku secara efisien yang dapat menurunkan biaya pengadaan. Maka dari itu, dilakukan perbaikan metode perencanaan pengadaan bahan baku agar biaya pengadaan dapat diturunkan. Selain itu, dilakukan juga perancangan media atau dashbaord perencanaan pengadaan bahan baku agar memudahkan bagian perencanaan melakukan pengambilan keputusan. Melalui media yang ada, kebijakan pengadaan bahan baku akan bekerja dengan pertimbangan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), safety stock, defect rate, reorder point (ROP), komponen biaya pendukung, jenis bahan baku berdasarkan Bill of Material (BOM), serta karakteristik supplier rujukan. Berdasarkan metode perbaikan yang dirumuskan, mampu dicapai penghematan biaya pengadaan hingga angka Rp342,730,426.1,-. Angka tersebut diperoleh dari selisih antara penggunaan metode pengadaan eksisting dan perbaikan perusahaan dengan menekan angka service level di 90%.

PT ABA is a company that produces gluten-free food products known as PT ABA. Currently, PT ABA has produced 23 SKUs consisting of various core raw materials and variations. In the raw material procurement process, PT ABA faces complexity due to the interrelationships between production plans, product types, raw materials, proportions of raw materials, reference suppliers, and various purchasing policies. In addition, procurement decisions also require coordination of the company's internal functions, which still have to be done manually in the data processing. Based on these conditions, PT ABA has to deal with the efficiency of planning the procurement of raw materials that can affect the overall business process. This final project focuses on how to make a plan for the procurement of raw materials efficiently, which can reduce procurement costs. Therefore, improvements were made to the planning method for raw materials procurement to reduce procurement costs. In addition, the design of the media or the planning dashboard for the procurement of raw materials is also carried out to make it easier for the planning department to make decisions. Through this method, the raw material procurement policy will run with the principles of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), safety stock, defect rate, reorder point (ROP), supporting cost components, types of raw materials based on the Bill of Materials (BOM), and supplier characteristics. Based on the formulated improvement method, it is possible to achieve savings in procurement costs of up to Rp. 342,730,426.1, -. This figure is obtained from the difference between the use of the existing procurement method and the improvement of the company by using the service level at 90%.
