Abstract

PT Terminal Teluk Lamong memiliki peran penting dalam menjamin kelancaran aktivitas kepelabuhanan untuk mendukung sistem logistik nasional yang efisien dan terintegrasi. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kendala-kendala dalam kegiatan delivery petikemas empty serta untuk mengevaluasi penerapan sistem best pick dan dampaknya terhadap pelayanan tersebut. Sistem best pick merupakan pengambilan petikemas berdasarkan lokasi terdekat dan termudah yang dapat dijangkau alat angkat lapangan. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan Lean Seven Waste, Root Cause Analysis 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, dan Value Stream Analysis Tools, ditemukan bahwa penerapan sistem best pick telah berhasil mengurangi waktu pelayanan delivery petikemas empty dari 65,95 menit menjadi 27,27 menit. Terdapat juga penurunan nilai Non Value Added yang sebelumnya 38,92 menit menjadi 8 menit. Potensi efisiensi yang didapatkan bagi terminal dalam satu bulan adalah sebesar Rp 255.397.111,00 dan potensi efisiensi yang didapatkan bagi Pengguna Jasa dalam satu bulan adalah sebesar Rp 3.474.634.748,00. Hal ini mengindikasikan potensi efisiensi baik bagi terminal maupun bagi Pengguna Jasa yang cukup signifikan.

PT Terminal Teluk Lamong plays a crucial role in ensuring the smoothness of port activities to support an efficient and integrated national logistics system. Research was conducted to identify the obstacles in the empty container delivery process and to evaluate the implementation of the best pick system and its impact on the service. The best pick system involves selecting containers based on the nearest and easiest-to-reach location for the handling equipment. Using descriptive methods and the Lean Seven Waste approach, Root Cause Analysis 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Value Stream Analysis Tools, it was found that the implementation of the best pick system had successfully reduced the empty container delivery service time from 65.95 minutes to 27.27 minutes. There was also a decrease in Non Value Added time from 38.92 minutes to 8 minutes. The potential efficiency gains for the terminal in one month amounted to Rp 255,397,111.00, and the potential efficiency gains for service users in one month amounted to Rp 3,474,634,748.00. This indicates significant potential efficiency for both the terminal and service users.
