Abstract

Pelabuhan adalah infrastruktur penting dalam transportasi laut yang memfasilitasi kegiatan bongkar muat barang, naik turunnya penumpang, dan bersandarnya kapal. Pelabuhan menjadi pendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi karena menjadi bagian integral dari jaringan logistik dan transportasi, yang memungkinkan aliran barang dan jasa secara efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas kinerja pelabuhan bongkar muat batu bara dengan menggunakan metode gabungan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), dan Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Penggunaan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) untuk mengidentifikasi moda kegagalan dan penggunaan metode Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) untuk menganalisis risiko dominan dan penyebab dari kegagalan tersebut, penggunaan metode Root Cause Analysis (RCA) digunakan untuk Analisis komponen penyebab kegagalan dengan metode 5why’s, serta Fishbone diagram berfokus untuk memvisualisasikan risiko-risiko yang terkait dengan kegagalan pada proses bongkar batubara. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan analisis dokumen resmi. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang operasional pelabuhan serta rekomendasi untuk peningkatan kinerja dan keamanan proses bongkar muat batu bara

Ports are important infrastructure in maritime transportation that facilitate loading and unloading of goods, boarding and descending of passengers, and docking of ships. Ports are a driver of economic growth because they are an integral part of logistics and transportation networks, allowing the efficient flow of goods and services. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of coal loading and unloading port performance using a combined method of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to identify failure modes and using the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to analyze the dominant risks and causes of the failure, using the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method to analyze components that cause failure with the 5why's method , and Fishbone diagrams focus on visualizing the risks associated with failure in the coal unloading process. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires and analysis of official documents. This research is expected to provide an in-depth understanding of port operations as well as recommendations for improving the performance and safety of the coal loading and unloading process.
