Abstract
Peran vital PT Dyandra Promosindo sebagai pelaku utama dalam industri event organizer di Indonesia, terutama melalui event IFEX yang memiliki dampak cukup besar terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, khususnya pada UMKM mebel dan kerajinan masyarakat. Kualitas sumber daya manusia yang terlibat dalam penyelenggaraan event menjadi faktor penentu dalam meraih kesuksesan. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang diterapkan oleh PT Dyandra Promosindo untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan kontribusinya terhadap pemberdayaan UMKM di sektor mebel dan kerajinan melalui event IFEX. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, penelitian melibatkan team leader dan crew event sebagai informan utama yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi empat strategi utama, yaitu organizational socialization dan orientation, mentoring dan coaching, kemitraan akademik, serta upgrading skill. Faktor pendukung yang mendorong keberhasilan PT Dyandra Promosindo dalam implementasi strategi mencakup dukungan tim IFEX, kualitas crew, dan pertumbuhan industri yang meningkatkan jumlah UMKM. Hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi turnover dan human error dari crew, serta kondisi cuaca dan lapangan yang tidak terduga. Peneliti juga menemukan faktor yang mendukung crew event berupa dukungan dari tim dan sikap kooperatif UMKM dan buyer. Crew menghadapi hambatan seperti kurangnya pemahaman buyer terhadap regulasi, miskomunikasi intrapersonal, dan kondisi fisik crew turut mempengaruhi kinerja mereka.

PT Dyandra Promosindo plays a vital role as a major player in the event organizing industry in Indonesia, particularly through the IFEX event, which significantly impacts economic growth and community empowerment, especially for SMEs in the furniture and craft sector. The quality of human resources involved in event organization is a critical factor in achieving success. This study explores the human resource development (HRD) strategies implemented by PT Dyandra Promosindo to enhance service quality and its contribution to empowering SMEs in the furniture and craft sector through the IFEX event. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, the research involved team leaders and event crew as primary informants selected through purposive sampling. The findings identified four main strategies: organizational socialization and orientation, mentoring and coaching, academic partnerships, and skill upgrading. Supporting factors driving the successful implementation of these strategies include IFEX team support, crew quality, and industry growth, which increases the number of SMEs. Obstacles faced include crew turnover, human error, and unpredictable weather and field conditions. The study also found additional supporting factors for event crews, such as team support and the cooperative attitudes of SMEs and buyers. Crews face challenges like buyers' lack of understanding of regulations, intrapersonal miscommunication, and physical conditions affecting their performance.
