Abstract

Kementerian Perhubungan membuka rute penyeberangan menggunakan kapal ferry ro-ro jarak jauh dari Surabaya menuju Lombok yang menjadi rute alternatif dalam proses distribusi barang menuju Nusa Tenggara untuk menunjang proses optimalisasi dan efektivitas pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia. Salah satu gangguan yang dihadapi dalam melakukan pelayaran adalah cuaca buruk seperti gelombang laut yang tinggi dapat mempengaruhi perubahan lintasan kapal saat melakukan pelayaran untuk tiba di tempat tujuan sehingga terjadi pembengkakan biaya operasional kapal. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis performansi sistem kendali auto trajectory terhadap konsumsi penggunaan bahan bakar Kapal Dharma Rucitra VIII dengan gangguan lingkungan yang berupa gelombang laut. Perancangan sistem kendali menggunakan logika fuzzy tipe Mamdani dengan pengujian simulasi pada software MATLAB. Pengujian yang dilakukan terdiri atas uji closeloop dan uji lintasan dengan variasi gangguan ketinggian gelombang laut sebesar 0,5 dan 1,5 meter. Hasil uji secara close loop sudah sesuai dengan standar IMO, yaitu dengan overshoot 0,7338° dan 0,7344°. Hasil simulasi yang didapatkan sebelum adanya gangguan memiliki error 9,90 meter dan dapat mengurangi bahan bakar sebesar 1,94 ton. Sedangkan saat diberikan gangguan 0,5 meter memiliki error 14,67 meter dan dapat mengurangi bahan bakar sebesar 1,39 ton. Saat diberi gangguan 1,5 meter didapatkan error 26,09 meter dan dapat mengurangui bahan bakar sebesar 0,52 ton. Semakin tinggi gelombang laut, maka pengurangan konsumsi bahan bakar kapal semakin sedikit.

The Ministry of Transportation opened a crossing route using long-distance ro-ro ferries from Surabaya to Lombok which became an alternative route in the process of distributing goods to Nusa Tenggara to support the optimization and effectiveness of Indonesia's economic development. One of the disturbances encountered in making a voyage is bad weather such as high sea waves which can affect changes in the trajectory of the ship when making a voyage to arrive at its destination resulting in an increase in ship operating costs. Thus, this study aims to analyze the performance of the auto trajectory control system on the fuel consumption of the Dharma Rucitra VIII Ship with environmental disturbances in the form of sea waves. The design of the control system uses Mamdani type fuzzy logic with simulation testing on MATLAB software. The tests carried out consisted of closeloop tests and trajectory tests with variations in sea wave height disturbances of 0.5 and 1.5 meters. The close loop test results are in accordance with IMO standards, with an overshoot of 0.7338° and 0.7344°. The simulation results obtained before the disturbance have an error of 9.90 meters and can reduce fuel by 1.94 tons. While when given a disturbance of 0.5 meters has an error of 14.67 meters and can reduce fuel by 1.39 tons. When given a disturbance of 1.5 meters, an error of 26.09 meters is obtained and can reduce fuel by 0.52 tons. The higher the sea waves, the less fuel consumption is reduced.
