Abstract

Boundaries have a very important role in Indonesia in the fields of administration, policy, and security. Accurate boundaries have an impact on the legal clarity of a region's management area. This is important to avoid disputes or conflicts related to territorial claims. This research aims to determine the boundaries of Pehserut Village, Sukomoro District, Nganjuk Regency, East Java, using cartometric and participatory methods in accordance with Permendagri No. 141 of 2017 in a hybrid manner with internet-based media and virtual applications. This research also analyzed the difference in the length of boundary segments and the area between the recommended boundary of the agreement with the RBI boundary, the Dukcapil boundary, the boundary of Pehserut Village, and the boundary of the bordering village. This resulted in changes in the length of boundary segments and area. The results showed that the determination of village boundaries using this method can be carried out effectively and efficiently in its implementation. In addition, the length of the agreed boundary segment is 10,123.374 meters, with a difference of 730.186 meters from the RBI boundary, 922.090 meters from the Dukcapil boundary, 283.830 meters from the Pehserut village boundary, and 72.542 meters from the bordering village boundary. The agreed village administrative area is 2,287,662.231 m², with a difference of 430,660.976 m² from the RBI boundary, 114,865.492 m² from the Dukcapil boundary, 709,873 m² from the Pehserut Village boundary, and 38,121.926 m² from the bordering village boundary. The results of this boundary determination are presented through the Pehserut Village boundary recommendation map and digital map.
