Abstract

Hidrogen memiliki banyak manfaat terutama bagi sektor perindustrian. Beberapa diantaranya adalah membantu reaksi hidrogenasi pada industri kimia organik. Selain itu, hidrogen juga dapat diturunkan menjadi beberapa produk ,seperti ammonia, hidrogen peroksida, methanol. Dalam pengembangannya, diasumsikan pabrik baru yang dibuat memenuhi 20% kebutuhan hidrogen dari kapasitas ptoduksi dengan waktu operasi 330 hari kerja/tahun dan waktu kerja 24 jam/hari, sehingga didapatkan kapasitas produksi pabrik adalah 0.313 juta ton/tahun (313,390.718 ton/tahun). Lokasi pabrik yang akan di dirikan adalah di Cilegon. Cilegon dekat dengan pantai sehingga air untuk bahan baku dan utilitas mudah didapatkan. Akses untuk masuk ke kota Cilegon juga mudah. Pabrik hidrogen dirancang dengan metode alkali menggunakan electrolyzer. Hal ini dikarenakan teknologi dan metodenya lebih ramah terhadap lingkungan dibandingkan dengan metode lain. Berdasarkan tinjauan ekonomi dari pembangunan pabrik Hidrogen, IRR yang bernilai 5,096% dan PI selama 35 tahun sebesar 81,08541656 maka pabrik hidrogen berkapasitas 300.000 ton/tahun dengan metode alkaline layak didirikan

Hydrogen has many benefits, especially for the industrial sector. Some of these include aiding hydrogenation reactions in the organic chemical industry. Additionally, hydrogen can be converted into several products, such as ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, and methanol. In its development, it is assumed that the new plant being built will meet 20% of the hydrogen demand from production capacity, with an operating time of 330 working days per year and 24 working hours per day, resulting in a plant production capacity of 0.313 million tons per year (313,390.718 tons per year). The location of the plant will be in Cilegon. Cilegon is near the coast, making water for raw materials and utilities easily accessible. Access to Cilegon city is also convenient. The hydrogen plant is designed using the alkaline method with an electrolyzer. This is because its technology and method are more environmentally friendly compared to other methods. Based on the economic review of the hydrogen plant construction, with an IRR of 5.096% and a PI over 35 years of 81.08541656, a hydrogen plant with a capacity of 300,000 tons per year using the alkaline method is feasible to establish.
