Abstract

Kawasan wisata Mangrove Wonorejo Surabaya merupakan salah satu hutan mangrove yang alami dan terjaga. Kawasan wisata mangrove Wonorejo menjadi salah satu sektor pariwisata yang dapat dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan karena memiliki nilai ekologi yang tinggi untuk menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan serta memiliki potensi sebagai destinasi ekowisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat strategi pengembangan wisata Mangrove Wonorejo Surabaya sebagai tempat tujuan wisata alternatif di Kota Surabaya dengan harapan sebagai ikon kelestarian lingkungan pesisir di Surabaya. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan menganalisis menggunakan strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Hasil analisis di dapatkan dari penyebaran kuisioner untuk mendapatkan faktor dominan yang bisa dikembangkan melalui metode analytical hierarchy process. Selanjutnya mengetahui potensi wisata yang dapat dikembangkan di hutan mangrove Wonorejo Surabaya.

Mangrove Wonorejo Surabaya tourist area is one of the natural and preserved mangrove forests. Wonorejo mangrove tourism area is one of the tourism sectors that can be developed sustainably because it has high ecological value to maintain environmental balance and has potential as an ecotourism destination. This research aims to create a development strategy for Wonorejo Surabaya Mangrove Tourism as an alternative tourist destination in Surabaya City with the hope of becoming an icon of coastal environmental sustainability in Surabaya. This research begins by analyzing using strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The results of the analysis were obtained from distributing questionnaires to obtain dominant factors that could be developed through the analytical hierarchy process method. Furthermore, knowing the potential of tourism that can be developed in the mangrove forest Wonorejo Surabaya.
