Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari ukuran HESS optimal guna meningkatkan kinerja dan efisiensi sistem penyimpanan energi baterai-superkapasitor pada kendaraan listrik. Penelitian ini menggunakan hasil simulasi dari model kendaraan listrik untuk menentukan solusi terbaik melalui penggunaan Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas teknik ini dalam menentukan kapasitas sistem penyimpanan yang ideal, yang berubah sesuai dengan durasi perjalanan dan kecepatan kendaraan. Efisiensi kendaraan listrik meningkat karena modifikasi ini, yang juga dapat dijadikan model untuk membangun kendaraan listrik ramah lingkungan dan efisien di masa depan. Selain itu, penggunaan metode MILP menghasilkan penurunan biaya sebesar 38.34% dibandingkan dengan kendaraan listrik yang hanya menggunakan sistem penyimpanan energi baterai (BES).

The purpose of this research is to search for the optimal HESS size to increase the performance and efficiency of battery-supercapacitor energy storage systems in electric vehicles. The study uses simulation results from an electric vehicle model to determine the best solutions through the use of Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP). The results demonstrate the effectiveness of this technique in determining the ideal storage system capacity, which changes with the features of the trip duration and vehicle speed. The efficiency of electric vehicles increased due to this modification, which could also be used as a model for constructing future eco-friendly and efficient electric vehicles. Additionally, the use of the MILP method resulted in a cost reduction of 38.34% compared to electric vehicles using only battery energy storage systems (BES).
