Abstract

5G diluncurkan pertama kali di Indonesia pada tahun 2021. Terhitung sudah hampir masuk tahun kelima 5G resmi beroperasi di Indonesia. Surabaya sebagai salah satu kota besar yang menjadi promotor awal layanan jaringan 5G di Indonesia. Permasalahan utama yang sering terjadi pada 5G ialah masalah cakupan jaringan dan kestabilan jaringan, di sisi lain minat serta harapan dari pengguna cukup besar. Maka dari itu dalam tugas ini dilakukan investigasi terhadap layanan jaringan 5G dengan metode penyelesaian yang diambil ialah dengan menggunakan Quality of Experience melalui kuesioner kepada pengguna dan Quality of Service melalui uji teknis jaringan dengan parameter RSRP, RSRQ dan SINR. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil persebaran layanan jaringan 5G di Surabaya pada provider Telkomsel dan Indosat pada lokasi klaster pengukuran didapatkan berurutan 40,26% pada provider Telkomsel dan 27,18% pada provider Indosat. Dalam hal penyedia layanan jaringan 5G di Surabaya, Indosat memiliki performansi jaringan lebih baik dari Telkomsel dalam hal RSRP dan RSRQ, yang dibuktikan dengan selisih nilai RSRP sebesar 10,07 dBm dan RSRQ 3,49 dB. Namun dalam hal SINR, Telkomsel lebih baik dari Indosat dengan selisih 1,81 dB. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner terhadap tingkat impresi pengguna didapatkan 76% responden menyatakan afirmasi positif, 5% bersikap netral, dan sisanya (19%) memberikan pandangan negatif terhadap layanan jaringan 5G di Surabaya.

5G was first launched in Indonesia in 2021. It has almost entered the fifth year of 5G officially operating in Indonesia. Surabaya is one of the major cities that became an early promoter of 5G network services in Indonesia. The main problems that often occur in 5G are network coverage and network stability problems, on the other hand, the interest and expectations of users are quite large. Therefore, in this task, an investigation of 5G network services is carried out with the solution method taken is to use Quality of Experience through questionnaires to users and Quality of Service through technical network tests with RSRP, RSRQ and SINR parameters. From the tests that have been carried out, the results of the distribution of 5G network services in Surabaya on Telkomsel and Indosat providers at the location of the measurement cluster are obtained sequentially 40.26% on Telkomsel providers and 27.18% on Indosat providers. In terms of 5G network service providers in Surabaya, Indosat has better network performance than Telkomsel in terms of RSRP and RSRQ, as evidenced by the difference in RSRP values of 10.07 dBm and RSRQ of 3.49 dB. But in terms of SINR, Telkomsel is better than Indosat with a difference of 1.81 dB. Based on the results of the questionnaire on the level of user impressions, 76% of respondents expressed positive affirmations, 5% were neutral, and the rest (19%) gave a negative view of 5G network services in Surabaya.
