Abstract

PDAM Surya Sembada Unit Karang Pilang merupakan perusahaan air minum dan air bersih yang melayani kebutuhan air bersih di daerah Surabaya. Terutama untuk IPAM Karang Pilang 3, merupakan penyedia air bersih untuk daerah Surabaya Barat. IPAM Karang Pilang 3 harus memproduksi air hingga kurang lebih 1700 l/s. Oleh karena itu, IPAM Karang Pilang 3 memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik dalam pendistribusian air bersih ke pelanggan. Dengan demikian, dibutuhkan pompa yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan distribusi air pada IPAM karang Pilang 3 agar lebih optimal. Metode penyelesaian yang diterapkan pada proyek akhir ini meliputi : 1) Perhitungan analitis Head efektif instalasi dan dibandingkan dengan perhitungan numerik. 2) Pemilihan pompa 3) Perancangan pompa double suction dengan bentuk kelengkungan impeller Three Circular Arc Method. Hasil menunjukkan nilai Head Efektif instalasi (Heff) untuk fluida air secara analitis sebesar 40 m dan secara numerik menggunakan software Pipe Flow Expert sebesar 39,958 m dengan error sebesar 0,1% yang berada pada batas yang diizinkan, yakni <0,2%. Pompa yang sesuai untuk distribusi air pada instalasi adalah dengan impeller tipe closed moderate specific speed. Untuk dimensi hasil perancangan impeller meliputi diameter inlet (D1) 287 mm, diameter outlet (D2) 530 mm, sudut sudu inlet (B1) 17º, sudut sudu outlet (B2) 25º, dan jumlah sudu (z) 8 buah.

PDAM Surya Sembada Karang Pilang Unit is a drinking and clean water company serving clean water needs in the Surabaya area. Especially for IPAM Karang Pilang 3, is a clean water provider for the West Surabaya area. IPAM Karang Pilang 3 can produce water up to approximately 1700 l/s. Therefore, IPAM Karang Pilang 3 is responsible for providing the best service in distributing clean water to customers. Thus, a pump is needed to meet the water distribution needs at IPAM Karang Pilang 3 to be more optimal. The completion methods applied in this final project include 1) Analytical calculation of installation effective head and compared with numerical calculation. 2) Pump selection 3) Design of double suction pump with Three Circular Arc Method impeller curvature shape. The results show the value of the installation Effective Head (Heff) for water fluid analytically is 40 m and numerically using Pipe Flow Expert software is 39.958 m with an error of 0.1% which is within the permissible limit of <0.2%. The appropriate pump for water distribution in the installation is with a closed type moderate specific speed impeller. For the dimensions of the impeller design results include inlet diameter (D1) 287 mm, outlet diameter (D2) 530 mm, inlet blade angle (B1) 17º, outlet blade angle (B2) 25º, and the number of blades (z) 8 pieces.
