Abstract
PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang merupakan perusahaan yang didirikan sebagai produsen pupuk nasional yang juga bertanggung jawab dalam melaksanakan distribusi dan pemasaran pupuk bersubsidi untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksi, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang melakukan pembangunan pabrik baru, yaitu pabrik P3B dan melakukan rencana penghapusan pabrik IV. Untuk menjaga kestabilan dan kontinuitas sistem kelistrikan guna memenuhi kebutuhan daya beban, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja ditunjang oleh 5 unit pembangkit. Dengan jenis pembangkit Gas Turbin Generator (GTG) berjumlah 4 unit dengan kapasitas total pembangkitan sebesar 52 MW dan 1 unit Steam Turbin Generator (STG) dengan kapasitas total pembangkitan sebesar 32 MW. Akibat penambahan pabrik baru P3B dan rencana penghapusan pabrik IV, kestabilan transien pada plant PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja belum dianalisis secara mendalam, sehingga perlu dilakukan studi stabilitas transien untuk mengetahui keandalan sistem saat terjadi gangguan transien. Sehingga pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisis kestabilan transien akibat generator padam dan hubung singkat, kemudian akan dilakukan perancangan mekanisme pelepasan beban (load shedding) agar sistem mampu mempertahankan kestabilan dan kontinuitas aliran daya tetap terjaga serta melakukan evaluasi keandalan sistem PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja apabila terjadi kegagalan pada generator akibat pelepasan dan penambahan beban. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penentuan metode dan lokasi beban yang akan dilepas secara tepat, sehingga dapat memberikan perbaikan terhadap frekuensi dan tegangan seefektif mungkin sesuai standar dengan mempertimbangkan prioritas beban serta memperoleh rancangan pola mekanisme pelepasan beban (load shedding) yang tepat dan handal sesuai standar ANSI/IEEE C37.106-1987 akibat adanya perubahan sistem beban pada PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja. ===================================================================================================================================
PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang is a company established as a national fertilizer producer that is also responsible for the distribution and marketing of subsidized fertilizers to support national food security. To meet production needs, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang is constructing a new plant, namely Plant P3B, and planning to remove Plant IV. To maintain the stability and continuity of the electrical power system to meet the load demand, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja is supported by 5 generating units. There are 4 units of Gas Turbine Generators (GTG) with a total generating capacity of 52 MW and 1 unit of Steam Turbine Generator (STG) with a total generating capacity of 32 MW. Due to the addition of the new plant, P3B, and the planned removal of Plant IV, transient stability at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja's plant has not been thoroughly analyzed, so a transient stability study is necessary to assess the system's reliability during transient disturbances. Therefore, this research will analyze the transient stability due to generator outages and short circuits and design a load shedding mechanism to maintain stability and continuity of power flow, as well as evaluate the reliability of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja's system in the event of generator failures caused by load shedding and load additions. The aim of this research is to determine the appropriate method and location of load shedding, in order to improve frequency and voltage as effectively as possible according to standards, considering load priorities. Additionally, it aims to develop an accurate and reliable load shedding mechanism design, in accordance with the ANSI/IEEE C37.106-1987 standard, due to changes in the load system at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja.
