Abstract

Penggunaan rentang data 4 – 8 bulan diperoleh nilai rata-rata tertinggi (rata-rata akresi tertinggi) sebesar 32,685 meter dan nilai rata-rata terendah (rata-rata abrasi tertinggi) sebesar -34.116 meter.

Beach is a transition area or boundary between land and water that has dynamics properties. Coastlines have a role in administrative areas, determining maritime boundaries, determining the authority to manage provincial marine resources, as well as regional spatial planning (land and water, including coastal areas). The Porong River, which is located on the border of Sidoarjo Regency and Pasuruan Regency, has many activities on the coastal area, such as aquaculture, settlements and tourism. The presence of mud sediment carried in the Porong’s River impacted the coastline dynamics at the river mouth. Through this research, analysis was carried out using remote sensing methods and Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) to determine the value of changes (dynamics) of coastlines that occur in the Sidoarjo – Pasuruan coastal area. Using a data range of 4 – 8 months, the highest average value (highest accretion average) was 32.685 meters and the lowest average value (highest abrasion average) was -34.116 meters. When using 1 year data range, the highest average value (highest accretion average) was obtained at 21.664 meters. Trends in coastline dynamics using a narrower data range show more detailed and varied coastline dynamics. The use of data with a large range is effective for calculating changes in coastlines over long periods of time. Future coastline predictions are obtained using coastline data that has been generated. Validation was carried out using drone data, which resulted in the calculation of a geometric error value for the image data of 2.181 meters and a high vegetation correlation value.
