Abstract
Hasilnya, simulasi perubahan dispatch berdasarkan nilai incremental losses mampu menurunkan losses menjadi 2,03% dan simulasi optimal power flow mampu menurunakan losses menjadi 1,91%.

Electricity system operations in Sulawesi are carried out by prioritizing reliability, quality and cost efficiency. One important indicator in this regard is electrical energy losses. In Makassar and the surrounding region, which is the center of energy consumption, a significant increase in load is expected. However, there are major challenges related to power losses due to the long distance between the location of large-scale power plants and load centers, potentially causing large losses due to long transmission distances. To minimize power losses in the electricity system, there are two methods used, namely incremental losses and optimal power flow. Incremental losses analysis aims to evaluate and reorganize the distribution of generation throughout the system by considering the impact of power changes at each generation bus on overall power losses. On the other hand, the optimal power flow method focuses on generation optimization with respect to constraints such as active power limit, reactive power limit, and voltage. With the change of power plant operation, it will have an impact on the cost of electricity supply (BPP) so that the amount of BPP needed to achieve the best shrinkage conditions in the South Sulawesi system is obtained. As a result, the simulation of dispatch changes based on the incremental losses value is able to reduce losses to 2,03% and the optimal power flow simulation is able to reduce losses to 1,91%.
