Abstract

Penelitian ini menyajikan desain unit Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) untuk pengurangan Total Suspended Solids (TSS) dalam pengolahan air limbah di PT XYZ. Penelitian dimulai dengan analisis komprehensif terhadap sistem pengolahan air limbah yang ada saat ini, mengidentifikasi area-area yang tidak efisien. Unit DAF yang diusulkan memiliki dimensi panjang 3,2 meter atau 4 meter jika termasuk platform dan pagar, lebar 1,6 meter atau 2,6 meter termasuk platform, dan tinggi 2,58 meter. Perhitungan desain yang rinci dan spesifikasi teknis disediakan untuk memastikan kinerja yang optimal. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mencakup estimasi yang mendetail dari Bill of Quantity (BOQ) dan Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB), dengan total biaya implementasi yang dihitung sebesar IDR 157,271,308.65. Tujuan utama adalah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengolahan air limbah, mematuhi peraturan lingkungan, dan mengurangi biaya operasional.

This study presents the design of a Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) unit for Total Suspended Solids (TSS) reduction in wastewater treatment at PT XYZ. The research begins with a comprehensive analysis of the current wastewater treatment system, identifying areas of inefficiency. The proposed DAF unit has dimensions of 3,2 meters in length or 4 meters if we include the platform and fences, 1,6 meters in width or 2,6 meters including the platform, and 2,58 meters in height. Detailed design calculations and technical specifications are provided to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, the study includes a thorough estimation of the Bill of Quantity (BOQ) and Budget Plan (RAB), with the total cost of implementation calculated at IDR 157,271,308.65. The ultimate goal is to improve the efficiency of wastewater treatment, comply with environmental regulations, and reduce operational costs.
