Abstract

Tugas akhir ini membahas permasalahan kompleks dalam transaksi jasa perbaikan gawai, yang melibatkan konsumen dan penyedia jasa dengan tantangan dari kedua perspektif. Fenomena ini menghadirkan "wicked problems" yang sulit diatasi dengan metode tradisional. Dalam konteks ini, pendekatan design thinking diusulkan sebagai solusi efektif untuk menangani kompleksitas masalah tersebut. Design thinking memfokuskan pada kreativitas, penggunaan analisis, dan keterlibatan pengguna untuk menciptakan solusi yang berpusat pada kebutuhan mereka. Di Indonesia, transaksi jual-beli jasa perbaikan gawai masih mengandalkan cara konvensional, menyebabkan masalah seperti kesulitan pemesanan dan risiko penipuan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi melalui platform digital khusus untuk jasa perbaikan gawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang prototipe antarmuka aplikasi pemesanan online jasa perbaikan gawai menggunakan metode design thinking. Keunggulan metode ini terletak pada fokus pada kebutuhan pengguna dan pendekatan iteratif dalam pembuatan prototipe. Prototipe ini akan diujicobakan melalui usability testing, yang merupakan bagian integral dari metode design thinking, untuk memastikan kesesuaian desain dengan kebutuhan dan harapan pengguna. Hasil penelitian berupa desain prototipe antarmuka yang mempunyai sifat dalam hal fungsionalitas, estetika, dan ketergunaan. Prototipe antarmuka yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat diterima oleh pelaku usaha dan konsumen, mengatasi permasalahan yang ada, dan memberikan kontribusi positif pada perkembangan industri jasa perbaikan gawai di Indonesia.

This final project discusses complex issues in the transaction of gadget repair services, involving both consumers and service providers with challenges from both perspectives. This phenomenon presents "wicked problems" that are difficult to overcome with traditional methods. In this context, the design thinking approach is proposed as an effective solution to address the complexity of these problems. Design thinking focuses on creativity, analytical use, and user engagement to create solutions centered around their needs. In Indonesia, transactions for gadget repair services still rely on conventional methods, causing issues such as difficulty in ordering and the risk of fraud. Therefore, innovation through a dedicated digital platform for gadget repair services is needed. This research aims to design a prototype interface for an online booking application for gadget repair services using the design thinking method. The advantage of this method lies in its focus on user needs and an iterative approach to prototype creation. This prototype will be tested through usability testing, which is an integral part of the design thinking method, to ensure the design's suitability for user needs and expectations. The research results will be in the form of a prototype interface design that possesses functionality, aesthetics, and usability. The generated prototype interface is expected to be accepted by businesses and consumers, address existing problems, and contribute positively to the development of the gadget repair service industry in Indonesia.
