Abstract
Tugas akhir ini membahas permasalahan dalam transaksi jasa pindahan barang, yang
melibatkan konsumen dan penyedia jasa dengan tantangan dari kedua perspektif. Penyedia jasa
pindahan barang masih melakukan transaksi jual-beli secara konvensional. Transaksi secara
konvensional memunculkan masalah seperti kesulitan menentukan harga dan risiko kehilangan
yang tinggi. Masalah ini termasuk karakteristik wicked problem yaitu melibatkan banyak pihak
dan kompleksitas yang sulit dipecahkan. Salah satu cara yang efektif untuk mengatasi wicked
problem seperti ini adalah dengan menerapkan metode design thinking. Penelitian ini bertujuan
merancang prototipe antarmuka aplikasi pemesanan online jasa pindahan barang menggunakan
metode design thinking. Metodologi penelitian didasarkan pada pendekatan Design Thinking,
melibatkan tahapan studi literatur, wawancara (empathize), identifikasi pain points, perumusan
how-might we, ideasi solusi, pembuatan high-fidelity prototype, serta usability testing. Proses
penggalian kebutuhan fase emphatize dilakukan kepada 5 partisipan dan 15 partisipan untuk
fase usability testing. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini termasuk fitur pelacakan barang secara real
time, pemesanan dengan estimasi biaya yang jelas, panduan komunikasi yang konsisten, dan
sistem ulasan serta feedback dari pengguna. Hasil usability testing menunjukkan bahwa severity
ratings memiliki penilaian paling tinggi dengan skor 1 dari partisipan. Ini menunjukkan bahwa
desain tidak memiliki masalah usability. Partisipan juga merasa mudah menggunakan prototipe
bisa dilihat dari hasil Skala SEQ Metric yang mendapat skor antara 6-7 dari partisipan. Desain
ini berhasil mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi pengguna dan memberikan solusi yang efektif
dalam proses jasa pindahan barang.

This final project discusses issues in the transaction of moving services, involving both
consumers and service providers, with challenges from both perspectives. Service providers for
moving goods still conduct transactions conventionally. Conventional transactions lead to
problems such as difficulties in determining prices and high risks of loss. These issues are
characteristic of wicked problems, involving many parties and complex challenges that are hard
to solve. One effective way to address such wicked problems is by applying the design thinking
method. This research aims to design a prototype of an online booking interface for moving
services using the design thinking method. The research methodology is based on the Design
Thinking approach, involving stages of literature study, interviews (empathize), identification
of pain points, formulation of how-might-we statements, ideation of solutions, creation of a
high-fidelity prototype, and usability testing. The needs assessment process in the empathize
phase was conducted with 5 participants, and 15 participants were involved in the usability
testing phase. The results of this thesis include features such as real-time item tracking, booking
with clear cost estimates, consistent communication guidelines, and a user review and feedback
system. Usability testing results showed that severity ratings received the highest score of 1
from participants, indicating that the design had no usability issues. Participants also found the
prototype easy to use, as reflected in the SEQ Metric Scale scores ranging from 6-7 given by
the participants. This design successfully addresses the users' problems and provides an
effective solution in the process of moving services.
