Abstract

Dalam menghadapi perubahan pasar global yang penuh persaingan, perusahaan harus memiliki kemampuan untuk bertahan dan tumbuh. Salah satu strategi efektif yang dapat diterapkan adalah melakukan investasi dalam pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi (TI). Teknologi Informasi menjadi elemen kunci yang dapat memberikan dampak signifikan pada kinerja dan keberlanjutan organisasi. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada analisis manajemen investasi TI dalam konteks perusahaan di sektor makanan dan minuman (FnB) di Indonesia. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengevaluasi, memetakan, dan mengukur dampak investasi TI terhadap pencapaian tujuan bisnis, serta memahami peran TI secara menyeluruh, termasuk manfaat baik secara tangible maupun intangible. Dengan memtakan keselarasan antara investasi TI dengan tujuan bisnis, penelitian ini menerapkan metode manajemen portofolio berdasarkan benefit dan IT orientation. Hasil dari pemetaan ini berupa grafik yang mengukur sejauh mana benefit yang dihasilkan dari IT orientation yang telah diterapkan. Grafik tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan cenderung fokus pada aspek TI yang meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas serta meminimalkan risiko bisnis. Hal ini selaras dengan tujuan perusahaan melakukan investasi TI, yaitu meningkatkan produktivitas, mempercepat proses bisnis, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan bisnis perusahaan. Dengan pemetaan ini, perusahaan diharapkan dapat memahami peran dan fungsi penerapan teknologi informasi serta mengidentifikasi potensi TI untuk masa depan.

In facing the competitive global market changes, companies must have the ability to survive and grow. One effective strategy is investing in the utilization of Information Technology (IT). IT is a key element that can significantly impact organizational performance and sustainability. This research focuses on analyzing IT investment management within the context of companies in the food and beverage (FnB) sector in Indonesia. The objective is to evaluate, map, and measure the impact of IT investments on achieving business goals and to understand the overall role of IT, including its tangible and intangible benefits. By mapping the alignment between IT investments and business objectives, this research applies portfolio management methods based on benefits and IT orientation. The results of this mapping are presented in a graph that measures the extent of benefits derived from the implemented IT orientation. The graph shows that the company tends to focus on IT aspects that enhance efficiency and productivity while minimizing business risks. This aligns with the company’s objectives of IT investment, which are to improve productivity, accelerate business processes, and meet the company’s business needs. With this mapping, the company is expected to understand the role and function of IT implementation and identify the potential of IT for the future.
