Abstract

Pendidikan Vokasi dirancang untuk mendukung pembangunan industri dengan menyiapkan lulusan yang memenuhi kebutuhan dunia kerja. Departemen Teknik Mesin Industri (DTMI) Fakultas Vokasi ITS menerapkan program Link & Match untuk mengaitkan proses pendidikan dengan kebutuhan tenaga kerja terampil. PT Veolia Services Indonesia, bagian dari Veolia Group, mengkhususkan diri dalam daur ulang botol plastik PET di pabrik Pasuruan, Jawa Timur. Kolaborasi dengan Danone Aqua membantu meningkatkan penggunaan plastik daur ulang, menciptakan sistem loop tertutup dalam produksi botol baru. Finite element analysis pada frame protect fence menunjukkan desain mengalami stress 101,6 MPa pada critical area, dengan factor of safety 1,8 dan displacement 7,775 mm pada beban terberat. Desain frame memenuhi kriteria dan siap untuk tahap manufaktur.

Vocational education is designed to support industrial development by preparing graduates who meet the needs of the world of work. The Department of Industrial Mechanical Engineering (DTMI) of the Faculty of Vocational Studies ITS implements the Link & Match program to link the educational process with the needs of a skilled workforce. PT Veolia Services Indonesia, part of the Veolia Group, specializes in PET plastic bottle recycling at its Pasuruan, East Java plant. Collaboration with Danone Aqua helps increase the use of recycled plastic, creating a closed-loop system for producing new bottles. Finite element analysis of the frame protection fence showed the design experienced a stress of 101.6 MPa at the critical area, with a factor of safety of 1.8 and a displacement of 7.775 mm at the heaviest load. The frame design meets the criteria and is ready for manufacturing.
