Abstract

Tasikmalaya merupakan Kota yang cukup padat penduduk. Timbulan sampah di Kota Tasikmalaya mencapai 323.156 kg/hari. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi timbulan sampah adalah pengelolaan sampah berupa bank sampah. Jumlah bank sampah yang tercatat di Kota Tasikmalaya adalah sebanyak 74, dan 4 diantaranya berlokasi di Kecamatan Indihiang. Menurut data dari Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, total timbulan sampah di Kecamatan Indihiang adalah 25.664 Kg/hari. Hingga saat ini, belum diketahui secara pasti besar potensi reduksi sampah dari kegiatan bank sampah dengan partisipasi masyarakat didalamnya. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan analisis dengan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).
SEM merupakan metode yang digunakan saat mengolah data yang didapat dari kuesioner untuk mengetahui besaran pengaruh peran masyarakat terhadap reduksi sampah melalui bank sampah. Hasil data dalam metode SEM diolah dengan aplikasi SmartPLS. Kuesioner dibagikan berupa kuesioner dengan skala likert dan disebar kepada 76 nasabah dan 100 non-nasabah bank sampah.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa potensi reduksi sampah oleh bank sampah di kecamatan Indihiang saat ini adalah sebesar 0.14%, namun potensi reduksi sampah masih bisa ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan jumlah nasabah bank sampah. Peningkatan dengan jumlah nasabah bank sampah dapat mencapai 4,7%. Adapun berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dengan metode SEM-PLS menggunakan SmartPLS menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan perilaku masyarakat terhadap reduksi sampah, namun pada aspek sikap masyarakat, sikap non-nasabah tidak memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap reduksi sampah.

The number of waste banks recorded in Tasikmalaya City is 74, and 4 of them are located in Indihiang District. According to data from the Environmental Service Tasikmalaya City, the total waste generation in Indihiang District is 25,664 kg/day. Until today, it is not yet known with certainty the potential for waste reduction from waste bank activities with community participation in it. Therefore, this analysis is needed and
is carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method.
SEM is a method that will be used when processing data obtained from questionnaires to determine the magnitude of the influence of the community's role in reducing waste through waste banks. The data results in the SEM method are
processed using the SmartPLS application. The questionnaire was distributed in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale and distributed to 76 customers and 100 non-customers of the waste bank.
The results of this research show that the potential for waste reduction by waste banks in Indihiang sub-district is currently 0.14%, but the potential for waste reduction can still be increased by increasing the number of waste bank customers. The increase in the number of waste bank customers can reach 4,7%. Meanwhile, based on the results of data processing using the SEM-PLS method using SmartPLS, it shows that there is a significant influence between people's knowledge and behavior on waste reduction, but in the aspect of people's attitudes, the attitudes of non-customers do not have a significant impact on waste reduction.
