Abstract

Kintamani adalah salah satu kecamatan yang terletak di Kabupaten Bangli, Bali. Kintamani terkenal dengan pemandangan Danau dan Gunung Batur yang ikonik. Salah satu spot terbaik untuk melihat pemandangan tersebut adalah Desa Penelokan. Karena potensinya tersebut, maka banyak didirikan restoran dan café disana untuk menikmati pemandangan tersebut, salah satunya adalah Restoran Rockaway. Desa Penelokan berada pada ketinggian 1500 mdpl yang memberikan beragam kelebihan dan kerugian bagi penduduknya. Kerugian yang paling merugikan adalah kelembaban yang dapat merusak bangunan dan juga kesehatan penduduk dan wisatawan disana.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang interior Restoran Rockaway yang optimal dengan menerapkan konsep cross ventilation guna mengatasi permasalahan kelembaban lingkungan. Konsep cross ventilation nantinya akan dipadukan dengan nuansa na untuk memberikan pengalaman baru kepada pengunjung mengenai budaya dan hasil kerajinan Bali. Sehingga pengunjung tak hanya datang untuk makan dan menikmati pemandangan, namun juga untuk melihat gambaran umum budaya dan kerajinan Bali.
Metode penelitian melibatkan studi literatur mengenai konsep cross ventilation serta tema NATURAL, survei terhadap kondisi lingkungan yang ada, serta analisis kebutuhan dan preferensi pengunjung restoran. Desain interior yang dihasilkan diharapkan mampu menciptakan nuansa yang nyaman, mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan ruang, dan memberikan Solusi efektif terhadap permasalahan kelembaban.
Hasil dari proposal perancangan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan desain interior yang tidak hanya estetis, tetapi juga berfokus pada kenyamanan dan kesehatan pengunjung

Kintamani is one of the sub-districts located in Bangli Regency, Bali. Kintamani is famous for its iconic views of Lake and Mount Batur. One of the best spots to see the scenery is Penelokan Village. Because of its potential, many restaurants and cafes were established there to enjoy the scenery, one of which is Rockaway Restaurant. Penelokan Village is located at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level which provides various advantages and disadvantages for its residents. The most detrimental disadvantage is moisture that can damage buildings and also the health of residents and tourists there.
This study aims to design an optimal Rockaway Restaurant interior by applying the concept of cross ventilation to overcome environmental humidity problems. The concept of cross ventilation will later be combined with modern traditional nuances to provide visitors with a new experience of Balinese culture and handicrafts. So that visitors not only come to eat and enjoy the scenery, but also to see an overview of Balinese culture and crafts.
The research method involves a literature study of the concept of cross ventilation and modern traditional themes, a survey of existing environmental conditions, and an analysis of the needs and preferences of restaurant visitors. The resulting interior design is expected to be able to create a comfortable feel, optimize space utilization, and provide effective solutions to moisture problems.
The results of this design proposal are expected to contribute to the development of interior design that is not only aesthetic, but also focuses on the comfort and health of visitors.
