Abstract

Kehadiran teknologi yang semakin berkembang dari tahun ke tahun dapat memberikan manfaat dalam proses bisnis suatu perusahaan menjadi lebih cepat, fleksibel dan efisien. Khususnya dalam penggunaan aplikasi berbasis website maupun mobile yang semakin lama banyak digunakan oleh perusahaan dan berkembang guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan nilai praktis dalam proses bisnis sehingga menciptakan produk maupun jasa yang cepat dan memuaskan bagi konsumen perusahaan. Namun, pada prakteknya penggunaan aplikasi tidak selalu sempurna memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan dalam suatu proses bisnis dikarenakan adanya berbagai faktor seperti perubahan kebijakan, perubahan alur kerja bahkan perubahan role person in charge. Sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi berkala terhadap penggunaan aplikasi dalam proses bisnis untuk memastikan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi relevan dengan tujuan perusahaan dan dapat memberikan nilai tambah dalam segi finansial, waktu dan sumberdaya. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai analisis evaluasi proses bisnis pembangunan jaringan fiber optik yang digunakan oleh PT XYZ dengan metode design thinking. Metode design thinking merupakan suatu metode yang mengombinasikan penyelesaian masalah yang berfokus pada kebutuhan pengguna yang selanjutnya dapat menciptakan suatu solusi sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Adapun tahapan dalam pelaksanaan design thinking meliputi emphatize, define, ideate, prototype dan test. Melaui proses wawancara stakeholder terhadap 35 responden, menghasilkan 4 (empat) persona dan 21 (dua puluh satu) problem statements yang menjadi pedoman untuk ideasi dengan menggunakan metode how might we question yang selanjutnya dilakukan pemilihan prioritas menggunakan metode impact effort matrix yang menghasilkan 10 ide yang terdiri dari 7 (tujuh) prototipe interaktif dan 3 (tiga) mock-up. Pada tahap pengujian, dilakukan perhitungan durasi penyelesaian tugas pada setiap prototipe interaktif yang selanjutnya diproyeksikan pada gantt chart untuk mengetahui durasi pembangunan jaringan fiber optik berdasarkan durasi waktu pengujian prototipe pertama. Hasil rata-rata skor usability testing dari prototipe yaitu, 77,03 apabila dikonversikan termasuk dalam kategori good.

The presence of technology which is increasingly developing from year to year provide benefits in making a company's business processes faster, more flexible and more efficient. Especially in the utilization of website and mobile-based applications which are increasingly being utilized by companies and are developing to increase efficiency and practical value in business processes so as to create products and services that are fast and satisfying for company consumers. However, in practice the utilization of applications is not always perfect in providing solutions to problems in a business process due to various factors such as changes in policy, changes in workflow and even changes in the role of the person in charge. So it is necessary to carry out regular evaluations of the utilization of applications in business processes to ensure that it still relevant to the company's goals and provide added value in terms of finances, time and resources. This research discusses the evaluation analysis of the business process for deployment fiber optic networks used by PT XYZ using the design thinking method. The design thinking method is a method that combines problem solving that focuses on user needs which can then create a solution according to user needs. The stages in implementing design thinking include empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test. Through the stakeholder interview process with 35 respondents, 4 (four) personas and 21 (twenty one) problem statements were produced which became guidelines for ideation using the how might we question method, then priority selection was carried out using the impact effort matrix method which produced 10 ideas which consisting of 7 (seven) interactive prototypes and 3 (three) mock-ups. At the testing stage, the duration of task completion for each interactive prototype is calculated which is then projected on a Gantt chart to determine the duration of construction of the fiber optic network based on the duration of testing the first prototype. The average usability testing score of the prototype is 77,03, if converted, it is included in the good category.
